Even though the original series has bid us farewell, there will probably be a Game of Thrones spin-off. Yes! We’re happy to announce that there will be a Game of Thrones spin-off. In fact, according to rumors, there are eight spin-off projects for the HBO series and three of them are animated series. Some of them are Tales of Dunk and Egg, Ten Thousand Ships, The Golden Empire and The Sea Snake. In addition, House of The Dragon is waiting in the wings to hit the screen. The spin-off will serve as a prequel and take place 200 years before the original series. Based on Martin’s 2018 novel Fire & Blood, it’ll follow the beginning of the end of House Targaryen and chronicle the Targaryen civil war known as “Dance of the Dragons” that’s tearing Westeros apart.

When will the Game of Thrones spin-off be released? Well, we’ve wonderful news! The series is scheduled to premiere on HBO on August 21, 2022. The first season will consist of 10 episodes. Let’s take a quick look at the House of The Dragon cast:

Fans would be happy to hear that there will be a Jon Snow sequel. The first Game of Thrones sequel is in production, and fan-favorite Jon Snow will be the main character in the series. We last saw him in the original series traveling north with surviving Wildlings after being exiled. So it looks like we’ll get to see the later events after his trip to the north and get the answer to the question, “What happened to Jon Snow?”

Will Kit Harington be back? He became everyone’s favorite with his role as Jon Snow in the original series. So, it’s very likely that he’ll reprise his role in the sequel. However, we don’t have much information about the sequel series yet.

This epic fantasy series follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), who’s looking for a group of five young villagers from the remote Two Rivers. She believes that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon, an extremely powerful channeler that broke the world. The Dragon Reborn is prophesied to either save the world from a primordial evil, the Dark One, or destroy it once again. The show is promising and can compete with Game of Thrones.
