One of Netflix’s most popular reality tv series Selling Sunset released its 4th season last November, and 4 months is a long enough time to make binge-watchers lose patience while waiting for Selling Sunset Season 5. Of course, the last season had enough drama for our all-gorgeous elite real estate brokers but there is no such thing as too much drama!
Last season’s main focus was Christine, whether you like it or not, she was the center of the attention as she had claimed that her ex, Peter, proposed to her while he was also together with Emma, the newcomer of the season. The discrepancies of her story made other brokers think that she was lying and her coworkers started to grow apart from her. So, we saw her leaving the party at the end of Season 4 which makes us curious over whether she left the show or not. I guess we’ll have to wait for Season 5 to know the answer.

Selling Sunset Season 5 Release Date: When is It?
Netflix already confirmed back in 2021 the renewal of Season 5 of Selling Sunset and we already know the release date! According to the IMDB page of the show, the new season will be available on Netflix on 22 April. The season will consist of 10 episodes however there is not a trailer released by Netflix yet, which makes sense when we look at the release date of Season 4’s trailer. The trailer for Season 4 was released only 2 weeks before the actual season was available. So, we expect the trailer for Selling Sunset Season 5 to be dropped in the 2nd week of April (April 8-14).

The cast of Season 5 seems to be quite similar to that of Season 4 since they will be released almost back to back. Of course, Jason and Brett Oppenheim are going to be there. Other cast members that we expect to be there are Chrishell, Mary, Romain, Heather, Amanza, Maya, Vanessa, Davina, and Emma. The future of Christine is unclear because of what happened in the last season, so her appearance in the new season is doubtful.

Amanza Smith was married to her ex-husband from 2010 to 2012 and they have 2 children together. However, the cast members were shattered when Amanza claimed that she hasn’t heard from him since September 2019 which was when she was filming the 2nd season of Selling Sunset. She said Brown sent her an email saying that he wasn’t able to take care of their children financially and she has to take them until his situation changes. Amanza says that was the last time she heard from him.
In November 2021, Amanza told some sources that the children’s father was still MIA although she both filed a report with the police and even hired a private investigator.

Mary Fitzgerald, one of the most popular of the Oppenheim Group, is actually 40 years old. She is married to Romain, another cast member of the series. They married on the 2nd season’s finale.

He is 12 years younger than Mary as he is 28 years old and Mary is 40. Here is a heartwarming story, they met when Romain was looking for a house in LA and Mary was his real estate agent, showing him houses!
Why Did Davina Leave Selling Sunset?

Before Season 4 was released Davina announced that she was leaving the Oppenheim group and the 4th season opens with Oppenheims trying to find a replacement for her. It turns out, Davina left the Selling Sunset group to join a rival group that apparently had offered her a huge amount of money. However, she is not completely gone from the series as we still saw her making short appearances in Season 4. We also expect her to be in Selling Sunset Season 5.
