We are happy to announce in Upcoming Season that Mindy Kaling’s acclaimed Netflix comedy will resume for new episodes! Netflix has announced that the teen comedy Never Have I Ever will come back for a third season.
The sitcom premiered its sophomore season barely a month ago, and it quickly climbed to the top of the site’s top 10 rankings, with reviewers praising its coming-of-age plot. In the series, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan portrays the insecure teenager Devi Vishwakumar, who spent much of season two struggling to date two friends at the same time before finally going public with Paxton.
We’ll see how that plot plays out in Never Have I Ever season three, which was introduced in August via media platforms, with Ramakrishnan responding with a handmade meme.

Never Have I Ever has proven to be one of Netflix’s most popular series, resulting in its confirmation for a third season. The production will be completed shortly, and the new season will be available for viewing in no time.
However, since it is still in production, we have no information about whether it will be the last season or not. Let’s wait for the release and talk about it after the season finale in Upcoming Season. For the time being, let’s delve into all of the Never Have I Ever Season 3 facts.
Will there be Never Have I Ever Season 3?
When we talk about NHIE S3, we are not just dealing with an optimistic show. We are talking about real, stark truths. The second season of the coming-of-age comedic drama premiered on Netflix in mid-July and barely a month later, the program was renewed for a third season. There is no news on when the following batch of episodes will be released, but it certainly makes sense that we will get it about a year after the second, most likely in the summertime of 2022.
The first episodes aired in April 2020, with the second season following in July 2021, most likely due to the coronavirus outbreak, which slowed development on most scripted series.
Never Have I Ever Season 2 Ending Explained
Season two was a rollercoaster voyage for Devi. She thought that she can spend time with two different boys with the assumption that she would be traveling to India very soon but instead, she ended up staying in the United States with her grandma coming in.
She reconnected with Paxton in the finale episode, and the two formally became a couple as a sad Ben stared on, realizing he always had feelings for her. Fans of Ben and Devi should not lose faith, as show creator Mindy Kaling hinted in a later interview that the path to romance for Paxton and Devi will not be easy.
During Winter Royalty, many people anticipated Devi and Paxton to win, but Paxton abandoned Devi since dancing is not his thing. She was there alone, but she still got to experience a big win since her bestie, Fabiola, and her girlfriend Eve also won. They came to shatter gender stereotypes as queens, but while they were giving their victory speech, Fab appeared. She transformed out of her gorgeous outfit was back in her Robotics Team outfit, as she despises complying with Eve’s friends’ expectations.
Paxton has always been chastised by his sister, Rebecca, for mistreating Devi, which explains why Devi has always been so uncomfortable. He remembers all the times they spent together, how Devi pushed him to be greater, and how scholarship options outside of swimming are now going to open up for him. He gets dressed and leaves after receiving a call from the school notifying him that his grades are rising. But, regrettably, he hits Devi with his car as she drives away, devastated.

Never Have I Ever Age Rating
As of now, Netflix has assigned the show an age classification of TV-14, which, according to Netflix’s maturity standards, would need some parental advice for individuals aged 14 and younger. The categorization is clearly justified, considering that the series contains adult themes that may be inappropriate for younger viewers to hear or watch.
We understand that delaying a few more years to see Devi’s touching narrative would feel like an eternity, which is why we recommended watching other age-appropriate Netflix programs similar to Never Have I Ever.
