With the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel feature opening in Japan in late December 2021 and its North American premiere just around the door, fans of the famous anime series now have another cause to be thrilled. We are gladly announcing that the second season of the anime series will premiere in 2023.

During a stage event to celebrate the success of the prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, it was reported that season two of the anime series is in the works and will air in 2023. Several voice actors from both the film and TV series, namely Junya Enoki and Megumi Ogata, who play series lead Yuji Itadori, and film star Yuta Okkotsu, were on the stage for the momentous news.

The show is enticing supporters for Season 2 in a big way. With the news of the new season, we can now criticize the pieces of Gojo’s Arc we saw in the trailer. We guess the next season will continue to build up some of the events in the future. The hype of the fans demonstrates enthusiasm for the series’ development, and while nothing is fixed in stone, it is evident that fans will need to pay close attention to Jujutsu Kaisen 2 whenever it begins to be released outside of Japan. However, no foreign release date has been determined as of this writing.

Is Jujutsu Kaisen finished?

The first season of the show is finished. The first season premiered its debut episode on October 3, 2020, and aired its final episode on March 27, 2021.

Viewers from all across the world have taken an interest in this series. Fans have been waiting with excitement since the debut of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie. Some even questioned if the anime would continue after the film. This is not the case, since the manga has made good progress, providing enough substance for a complete season of animation.

There have been no official pronouncements regarding the release of Season 2, but fans have managed to forecast a reasonable timeline based on available information.

When is Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2?

The second season has not been publicly announced, but we can guess a release date based on a variety of criteria.

A season of anime takes around 18 months to produce. This may be more or less exact if you use a lot of information and a quick speed. The first season began on October 3, 2020, and ended on March 27, 2021.

Given that the program is currently in pre-production, Jujutsu Kaisen will most likely come back for Season 2. Because the Shibuya arc is highly anticipated, it stands to reason that MAPPA Studio will take its time producing it.

How many episodes are in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen’s first season has 24 episodes. Barely a year after the manga was released, an animation remake was planned, and the first 24 episodes of “Jujutsu Kaisen” began showing on MBS and TBS in October 2020. The show’s release was eventually pushed out on Crunchyroll outside of Asia.

On March 27, 2021, the final season was broadcast. Gege Akutami is the creator and artist of the manga series ‘Jujutsu Kaisen,’ which served as the inspiration for the anime series ‘Sorcery Fight.’ Yuji Itadori, a teenager, recognizes the existence of curses and their potential to harm others.

Itadori swallows a powerful cursed relic that mimics a rotting finger in order to defend his companions and a sorceress named Megumi Ishiguro. Ryoma Sukuna is cursed as a result of this. This is regardless of the fact that he retains control of his body.

As Itadori attends Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, a death sentence looms over his head. He won’t be able to start until he’s consumed all of Sukuna’s fingers.

Jujutsu Kaisen Movie

The much-anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film was released in western theaters on March 18, 2022. The film, which premiered in Japan in December, made its way to theaters in the United States and Canada.

The dark fantasy film by TOHO Animation is accessible in both English dub and subtitled and it was released in over 1500 cinemas across Japan. Based on the popular Jujutsu Kaisen manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 follows Yuta Okkotsu, a timid high school student who enrolls at the secretive Tokyo Jujutsu High School after being tormented by his late girlfriend’s curse.
