Vikings Valhalla Episode Guide
Episode 1
1st episode of Vikings: Valhalla titled “The Greenlanders” was released on February 25, 2022. The episode was rated 7.4 on IMDb and follows the armies of the Vikings as they gather in the Kattegat to avenge a massacre in England. However, Leif and Freydis want a different kind of retribution.
Episode 2
Season 1 Episode 2, titled “Viking,” was rated 7.3 on IMDb. This episode is about Leif, who agrees to join Canute and Harald’s siege of London to save Freydis’ life. Meanwhile, Queen Emma sends Edmund out to secure the help of an ally.
Episode 3
“The Marshes,” the 3rd episode of Vikings: Valhalla, has a rating of 7.4 on IMDb. The episode revolves around a pilgrimage during which Freydis and her group are brutally attacked. Later in the episode, Harald and Leif search for a way through the marshes near London, while Edmund is crowned king.
Episode 4
Season 1 Episode 4, titled “The Bridge”, is the fans’ favorite episode, as it has the highest rating on IMDb among the other episodes, with 8.3. It follows Leif as he proposes an attack on London, which Emma and Godwin fear their brash and headstrong boy-king Edmund will be too reckless to defeat.

Episode 6, titled “The Last Daughter of Uppsala,” is about Freydis, who returns to Kattegat and joins a holy order. Meanwhile, Canute consolidates his power in England and Kåre revisits the holy site of a childhood trauma. The episode has a rating of 7.2 on IMDb.
Episode 7
The 7th episode of Vikings: Valhalla, titled “Choices” is about Olaf making a pact with Kåre, as Kattegat prepares for his defense. Meanwhile, Sweyn Forkbeard, Canute’s father, shares England’s throne with Edmund in his absence. The episode was rated 7.4 by viewers.
Episode 8
The season finale of the spinoff series is quite promising, given the title “The End of the Beginning”. The episode ranks #2 among the most popular Vikings: Valhalla episodes, as it comes with a rating of 8.0 on IMDb after Episode 4. In the final episode of Season 1, Olaf and Kåre gather their forces to invade Kattegat. Meanwhile, a palace intrigue for control of England’s throne leads to an unexpected turn of events that left us absolutely speechless. In fact, we are counting down the days until the myth and the legend Vikings: Valhalla releases Season 2.

Sam Corlett, the handsome actor we know for his role as Caliban in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, plays the main character Leif Erikson in the spinoff series.
Leo Suter plays Harald Sigurdsson, nicknamed Harald Hardrada, one of the last Viking berserkers and Prince of Norway who wants to become King of Norway. The actor starred in the popular series Sanditon.
Frida Gustavsson stars as Freydís Eiríksdóttir. The well-known actress previously played the role of Geralt’s mother in The Witcher.
Bradley Freegard plays King Canute of Denmark, a cruel Viking leader.

On Day 1 of Geeked Week 2022, Vikings: Valhalla was a Geeked Week special, so Netflix released a Bloopers video from the filming of Season 1. There was also a video where the cast of the popular series talked about Vikings: Valhalla and thanked fans for making it one of the top ten series in 91 countries. They also thrilled us with the news that there will be not one, but two more seasons of Vikings: Valhalla.
Unfortunately, however, neither the actors nor the Netflix Geeked Week hosts gave us any more hint about Vikings: Valhalla Season 2, only hinting that the upcoming season is still in production.
