Netflix Geeked Week 2022’s series showcase was full of trailers, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and first looks. Fate: The Winx Saga was one of the anticipated series which received its share in the Geeked Week. Although we would love a trailer or an official release date for the 2nd season, we only got a first look video which is not disappointing because it includes a new character that fans were dying to see: Flora!
Yes, fans were very disappointed that characters like Flora, Tecna, Roxy, Brandon, and Kiko were not included in the 1st season of the series. It seems like the show’s creators have listened, and you can see in the first look video that Flora is joining the team in Season 2.
Fate: The Winx Saga Episode Guide
Before getting ready for Fate The Winx Saga Season 2, we should remind ourselves of what happened in Season 1. So, here is a quick episode guide for all the episodes of Season 1:
Ep.1: Bloom, a fire fairy from Earth, starts going to a magical school for fairies in the Otherworld, a magical parallel world to the First World (aka Earth). She meets Stella, Aisha, Terra, and Musa there. With a ring that Stella gives her, she can travel to the First World via a portal, and when she does, she is attacked by the Burned One though she is rescued by others afterward. She loses the ring in the process.
Ep.2: People in the school suspect that Bloom is a changeling, a fairy child switched with a human baby. Riven and Beatrix look for secrets in the headmistress Dowling’s office. Bloom and Aisha knock the Burned One out and take the ring back. Beatrix finds a secret room in Dowling’s office.
Ep.3: When Bloom dreams about a woman she believes is the fairy who put her on Earth, she confronts Dowling and asks her who that woman is. Dowling says she is Rosalind, who died years ago. But we learn at the end of the episode that Rosalind is being held captive in the secret room of Dowling’s office.
Ep.4: Bloom and Beatrix team-up. Bloom finds out that Dowling and her allies destroyed a place named Aster Dell 2 days before her birthday. When Beatrix says war crimes were committed, Bloom starts to believe that her biological parents were murdered there.
Ep.5: Sky and Bloom kiss each other. When confronted about Aster Dell, Dowling says Rosalind tricked them into it, and that’s why she is a captive now. Beatrix, Bloom, and Stella free Rosalind while many Burned Ones are approaching.
Ep.6: Rosalind tells Bloom that her biological parents are still alive. Bloom unleashes all of her power and destroys the Burned Ones. Bloom then goes on to reveal everything to her adoptive parents on Earth. Rosalind kills Dowling after telling her that Bloom has the ancient Dragon Flame burning inside her.

Fate The Winx Saga Season 2
Fate The Winx Saga Season 2 will have 2 more episodes than the previous season. We know 8 episodes will not be enough, but still, it is better than 6. Season 2’s filming started in Ireland in July 2021 and lasted until November. It is currently at its post-production stage, which lasts a bit longer for a series with more special effects. The First Look video introduced on Netflix Geeked Week 2022 did not give out a release date, but considering the filming is already over, we will get to see the new season before the end of the year. If we’re lucky, we expect the new season to arrive in fall 2022, particularly in September.
