Based on the bestselling books of Lauren Brooke, the TV series follow the lives of two sisters on a ranch. Just before Ty’s unexpected illness in Season 10, at the end of Season 9, Amy revealed that she was pregnant. About a year later, at the end of Season 10, she gave birth to a lovely baby girl. The couple named their daughter Lyndy Marion. They also become foster parents of a young boy named Luke in Season 13. Her children are expected to be the main source of force and happiness for Amy in the new season after Ty’s death. 

Little Lyndy, who is four now, is played by twin sisters Ruby and Emmanuella Spencer, the smallest members of the Heartland cast. The two replace each other occasionally while playing the part of Lyndy to avoid long and exhausting shooting hours as child actors.

The adorable girls are a perfect casting as they have a real similarity with both Marshall and Wardle, who play their parents. With their blond hair and blue/green eyes, Spencer sisters are especially look alike Marshall, which caused many to speculate if they were really her children.

Yet, these speculations have no basis as Marshall, despite expressing her desire to have a child one day, has no kid of her own as of now.

Despite facing many problems during the course of their marriage, Ty and Amy do not get a divorce. Instead of their issues as a couple, fate intervenes with their happiness by bringing death to Ty.

Although not through a divorce, in Season 14, we will nevertheless watch a “single” Amy for the first time in years.
