On November 7, 2021, the fourth season of the popular neo-western drama series Yellowstone premiered. Season 4 was eagerly anticipated by fans of the show. As we watched the entire season and the season finale, we had unanswered questions regarding the following season, such as whether Kayce and Monica will divorce in Yellowstone season 5. What happened to Kayce on Yellowstone?
Season 4 of Yellowstone presents Kayce with new challenges in his relationships with his father, the Duttons, and his wife. Apart from having challenges in their own relationship with each other, the pair overcomes a number of obstacles together. Kayce has a vision quest in the season finale that sends him on a spiritual trip and reveals him his past traumas as well as the ultimate end. “I saw the end of us,” Kayce tells Monica after having this vision, but he doesn’t elaborate on what he means by “us.” Season 4 of Yellowstone has an open ending, leaving the audience guessing about what will happen next to Kayce and Monica in Yellowstone season 5.

Will Kayce and Monica divorce in Yellowstone season 5? What will become of Kayce and Monica’s relationship? Even though there are many theories, we feel Kayce’s vision foreshadows the end of someone or something. However, we’ll have to wait until the season 5 opening to find out how things will improve.
What happened to Monica on Yellowstone?
Monica and Tate were attacked by a masked stranger in the opening episode of Yellowstone season 4. To save his and his mother’s lives, Tate takes up the gun and murders the man. This tragedy, however, has left both of them severely scarred. In the third episode, when the son and mother reappeared, Kayce confronts Monica about Tate’s distressed behavior. Monica believes that she does not belong on the Dutton ranch and that she should not have moved in with them in the first place. Kayce’s decision, she realizes, will influence the future of their relationship.

Kayce strives to be a decent husband and father to Monica and his son, Tate. It’s clear that he wants to protect his family and fulfill its responsibilities. On the other hand, there are the Duttons and Kayce’s father, John Dutton, to whom Kayce is also accountable. He is expected to be a devout follower of the Duttons’ legacy. Nonetheless, Kayce is torn between his father and his wife, or, to put it another way, between his Yellowstone Ranch responsibilities and his wife and kid. This dilemma will almost certainly play a role in Kayce’s decision in the fifth season: whose side will he choose? Which is more important: his father or his wife?

Will Kayce and Monica Divorce in Yellowstone Season 5?
Kayce shows up to be the son of John Dutton, despite the fact that he is a father himself. Kayce and Monica’s marriage is affected by this conflict. When we consider the tragic conclusion of Yellowstone Season 4, it’s clear that Kayce is torn between the Duttons and his wife. His decisions will define Kayce and Monica’s marriage’s future and what will come to an end. There have been rumors that Monica is pregnant, but we can’t say for sure until the fifth season premieres. Regardless, it’s clear that if Kayce goes with the Duttons, he’ll lose Monica and Tate. But would Kayce be willing to risk losing his son and the love of his life?

Monica whines & complains way to much. I would rather not see her in season 5 at all. She coddles Tate too much. He isn’t 2 yrs old. Kayce is trying to please her and his father. I personally don’t like to see this where she keeps tabs on Kayce everywhere he goes. Her personality is that “Wife” that no one likes. I think Taylor can do better with her character . I know the show revolves around the Indian Nation and the Ranch,, but I’m not all in with the critical race theory either. Monica keeps saying “Her People”,, I’m kind of over that too. We are all immigrants,, ancestors came from old world Europe and races have mixed. So I would say let’s spice this up Taylor , take another look at your storyline and maybe I will look forward to season 5.
