Here in Upcoming Season, we announce that Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be available for at least one further season, Grey’s Anatomy lovers! During the series’ Season 18 winter holiday in January 2022, ABC reported that actress Ellen Pompeo and producer Krista Vernoff have signed new contracts for Season 19. This was to prevent the fear that the medical drama will conclude in 2022.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 will address the ever-expanding universe of contemporary medicine through the perspective of old and new faces from the show according to the TV.

Of course, that broad descriptor could be applied to any season of the program, so it doesn’t tell us anything about what to predict. That’s reasonable, given that Season 18 is still running. If history can provide any guide for us, we are sure that it has a few twists up its hand before Season 19.

But what to watch while you wait for the next season of Grey’s Anatomy if you already watched the 18th one? We compiled a list of shows that could decrease your hunger for medical series in this list. Keep reading to find out about these amazing shows!

1. House M.D.

House follows Dr. Gregory House, an unusual, sociopathic medical expert who heads a team of professionals at a fictitious hospital while simultaneously depending on pain medicine to get by.

Why we recommend House to Grey’s Anatomy viewers is because the situations on this program are completely insane. Do you believe some of the instances that come up in Grey’s Anatomy are intense? Just wait until you see House. This is a classic medical drama for some good reasons, and it was famous for many, many years with the amazing House team. If you haven’t watched it yet, now would be the time. The research into these enigmatic situations is what keeps this program going.

Chicago Med

2. Chicago Med

Chicago Med is similar to Grey’s Anatomy but set in a new neighborhood. Dick Wolf, the author of Law & Order, is one of the geniuses behind all this incredibly quick-paced medical program. Chicago Med, which debuted in 2015, is continuing on television and follows the client and doctor drama at the imaginary Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.

The show introduces viewers to The Gaffney Chicago Medical Center’s outstanding staff. It, like Grey’s Anatomy, covers their most difficult cases as well as their interactions. This emergency hospital drama from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf can make you feel some strong emotions. The sixth season of the show stars Nick Gehlfuss (Will Halstead), Yaya DaCosta (April Sexton), and Torrey DeVitto (Natalie Manning), however, the last two have confirmed that they will leave the show before Season 7.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

3. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

As scientists, the Las Vegas CSI crew is constantly up to date on the newest advancements in forensic science. Working the night shift, their cases frequently feature casinos, the mafia, and corpses buried in the desert.

Anthony E. Zuiker produced the American crime drama television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS, 2000). The show follows Las Vegas CSIs operating for the Las Vegas Police Force as they utilize material proof to solves mysteries, and it has influenced a slew of subsequent cop-show procedurals. The show combines deductive reasoning, tough logical thinking, and personality drama, just like Grey’s Anatomy.

How to Get Away with Murder

4. How to Get Away With Murder

How To Get Away With Murder, which Shonda Rhimes executive produced (sounds familiar, Grey’s Anatomy fans?), is currently available on many platforms. We meet a group of law school students and their teacher (played by Viola Davis) as they become entangled in a murder conspiracy that might change the direction of their futures in this drama.

First of all and foremost, Viola Davis is totally brilliant in How to Get Away With Murder and deserves every award she has received for her performance. But we also think Grey’s Anatomy viewers will appreciate this series. It is not as gentle as Grey’s, but you will adore the surprises that this program presents.

Designated Survivor

Designated Survivor

5. Designated Survivor

Kiefer Sunderland directs ‘Designated Survivor,’ a political thriller that stars Tom Kirkman, who becomes President of the United States following a bomb assault on Capitol Hill. ‘Designated Survivor’ has already seen three seasons, and fans are eagerly anticipating the fourth one soon. From the first to the third season, the program has grown into a more traditional and realistic political drama, which you might find something you loved in Grey’s Anatomy.

However, the program has received considerable criticism for its use of vulgarity and for addressing more serious issues that some believed were inappropriate for mainstream TV. The producers and filmmakers, on the other hand, believe that the show’s inclusion on Netflix is freeing. We will see what the fourth part of the show has in store for us, but the actual wait is for Grey’s Anatomy.

6. Station 19

Station 19 is another sequel developed by Shonda Rhimes and the show takes place in the very same city as Grey’s Anatomy. Station 19 follows the story of the men and women who work at Seattle Fire Station.

This one is ideal for Grey’s Anatomy fans. While a spinoff, it isn’t as clinically oriented. Instead, it focuses completely on the lifestyles of the firemen, providing a different perspective on one of the most vital occupations there is. What’s particularly amazing about Station 19 is that it occurs in the same city as its prequel, so you will end up seeing a lot of familiar faces. This one is really nice to watch while you wait for the 19th season.

The Good Doctor

7. The Good Doctor

The Good Doctor follows the story of Shaun Murphy who is a young autistic physician. He has savant syndrome and a rough history, and he decides to relocate to San Jose, California to practice at the famous San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.

The Good Doctor and Grey’s Anatomy share many similarities, including a shared network, specialists saving lives, and heartbreaking events that will leave you in tears for hours. We are not joking here, this is not anything you have watched before so prepare your tissues! The Good Doctor not only features a superb cast, but it also has lots of scenes that will tear your heart and make you cry.
