13 years after the beloved Orphan (2009), Orphan First Kill came out on August 19 as a prequel to the original film. However, except for Isabelle Fuhrman, the Orphan First Kill cast consists of different actors as the prequel focuses on Leena’s running away from a psychiatric institute and replacing a girl named Esther. So, the events of the new movie take place years before what we saw on Orphan. Isabelle Fuhrman’s iconic character Leena is actually a 31-year-old woman with a rare disorder that gives her the appearance of a child. After running away from the psychiatric institute in Estonia, Leena finds out about missing girls whose families are looking for them. She realizes that one of the missing girls, Esther, looks exactly like her. So, Leena goes to a police officer and poses as the lost girl, claiming her family lives in the U.S.

Now, although playing a grown-up who looks like a child, Isabelle Fuhrman is 25 years old. During the 1st film of the series, however, she was only 12 years old. Besides being a horror icon with her character Leena, Fuhrman has appeared in The Hunger Games (2012). She also had a recurring role in the TV series Masters of Sex (2015). When it comes to her dating life, though, not much is known.

Besides Isabelle Fuhrman, the most important Orphan 2 cast member is Julia Stiles, who portrays real Esther’s mother, Tricia. Happy thinking that she finally found her daughter after she went missing for 4 years, Tricia embraces Esther but also realizes that something is wrong.

Stiles, now 41 years old, rose to prominence, especially with movies like 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) and Save the Last Dance (2001). She also appeared in films such as Mona Lisa Smile (2003), Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Between Us (2013), and Hustlers (2019). The actress has been married to Preston J. Cook since 2017, and they have 2 children together.

The last Orphan First Kill cast member on our list is Rossif Sutherland, who plays Allen, Tricia’s husband and real Esther’s father. Sutherland had a recurring role in ER (2003-2004) as Lester. He also portrayed Detective Pen Martin in the 2nd season of King (2012). Apart from these, he played Nostradamus in Reign (2013-2017).

The 43-year-old actor comes from a family of actors. His father is Donald Sutherland, and his half-brother is Kiefer Sutherland. The actor married Celine Sinden, his co-star from Reign, in 2016. He has a son.
