According to Upcoming Season, Red Notice will have two sequels and we are really excited to announce this piece of happy news with the fans! The first film’s actors, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson, as well as director Rawson Marshall Thurber, are anticipated to reunite for the sequels.

In the first film, crime reduction agency Interpol, also known as a Red Notice, issued a global notice to find and apprehend the world’s most sought art thief. Reynolds and Gadot portray opposing characters, while Johnson plays the FBI’s top analyzer. The three meet during one spectacular robbery.

The sequels are set to begin filming in early 2023, with the two films shooting right after one another. Of course, the availability of the central actors is conditional on their responsibilities to superhero series. As you might have heard, Reynolds is Deadpool, Gadot is Wonder Woman, and Johnson is Black Adam. They also have other major projects, such as Disney’s live-action Snow White film for Gadot. Netflix executives have stated that the sequels would include new cast members for a robbery gang similar to the Ocean’s Eleven series.

Red Notice, which will be aired in November 2021, is presently the platform’s greatest movie of all time, with 364 million hours seen in its first 28 days on Netflix. With a budgeted cost of approximately $200 million, it is the most costly film the streaming service has ever released.

Let’s dive into more details about the upcoming sequels that have caused a big excitement for the fans of the movie.

What is Red Notice About?

Whereas no information on where the narrative will bring us to has been revealed, it is thought that Thurber is already working on the screenplays for both films. Red Notice stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as FBI profiler Rusty, who is compelled to collaborate alongside the world’s most sought art thief, Gal Gadot, and a renowned conman, Ryan Reynolds.

The last twist in the movie sees Booth, The Bishop, and Hartley band together and set their eyes on The Louvre museum in Paris, purportedly planning for the largest theft of their life, but are they actually seeking the Mona Lisa?

It is a good thing the movie’s convoluted climax sets up a possible sequel with the fearsome starring trio, Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. They look like they are ready to get involved in an even greater robbery. Johnson, who also directed the film through his Seven Bucks Productions firm, had previously hinted at a sequel before its premiere.

Red Notice was a huge hit for Netflix, quickly becoming the streaming service’s greatest film of all time after its premiere in 2021. Red Notice 2 and 3 will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Sequel to Red Notice Trailer

Because production on Red Notice 2 has yet to begin, there has been no evidence of a trailer. Fans would have to wait a bit for it. However, Netflix sequels are normally released two years after the original film, which means a sequel might appear in November 2023 and a teaser may be released earlier that year. In the process, you may watch the first film on Netflix and its trailer here:

Netflix has not revealed the plot of Red Notice 2, but we assume it will have these three people working together to steal a large piece of art or numerous works of art, like in the previous film.

That is all we know about Red Notice 2 thus far! Stay tuned in Upcoming Season for additional information on the Netflix film sequel. We are excited for Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot’s return for the next two movies.
