Mindhunter is a psychological crime thriller TV series by Joe Penhall, based on the 1995 true-crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. Among the executive producers of the series are well-known names such as Charlize Theron and David Fincher, but the Mindhunter cast also consists of quite well-known and successful actors.
Mindhunter Cast
The compelling story of Mindhunter follows FBI agents Holden Ford, Bill Tench and psychologist Wendy Carr, who head the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit within the Training Division at the FBI Academy. Holt MacCallany, 58, is best known for his role as Bill Tench, a special agent and partner of Holden Ford in the TV series Mindhunter. Other TV series he’s appeared in include Freedom, CSI: Miami and Lights Out. His most recent films are Wrath of Man, The Ice Road and Nightmare Alley.
Holt McCallany has reportedly been dating Nicole Wilson for about 16 years.
Jonathan Groff

Jonathan Groff is a 37-year-old well-known actor who’s received various awards. Two of his most famous TV performances are Boss and Looking. He also starred in 15 episodes of the musical comedy Glee. He was the voice of Kristoff in the Frozen franchise. Groff also appeared in the films American Sniper and The Matrix Resurrections. He won a Grammy Award for his role in the 2020 film Hamilton and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. In Mindhunter, he plays Agent Holden Ford of the Behavioral Science Unit (BSU).
Jonathan Groff came out as gay in 2009 and was dating choreographer Corey Baker at the time, but the couple broke up in 2020. According to reports, the successful actor hasn’t opened his heart to anyone since then.

Cameron Britton is a 35-year-old actor best known for his role as Ed Kemper, also known as the Co-Ed Killer, a serial killer who murdered six college students before murdering his mother and her best friend, in Mindhunter. For his performance, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Britton also played the role of Hazel in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy.

Cameron Britton is reportedly married to Caitlin Ferrante. According to Britton’s Instagram account, the couple has a daughter.

In Mindhunter, 35-year-old actor Sonny Valicenti plays the role of Dennis Rader, a highly organized serial killer active primarily in Wichita, Kansas. He’s also appeared in TV series such as One Mississippi, Platonic and Lady Dynamite. In addition to his TV career, Valicenti has also appeared in several films including The Conway Curve and Office Christmas Party.
Sonny Vailcenti leads a low-key life, so we don’t have any concrete information about his relationship status. However, we assume that he’s not currently dating anyone.
Hannah Gross
