Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power cast members have been under attack for the last few days as the series is getting review-bombed. People who give low ratings to the show argue against including a diverse cast and female warriors. These folks are riled up, saying they wanted the show to follow Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies, which had a predominantly male white cast. They even argue that elves and dwarves being black go against how J.R.R. Tolkien originally created his universe. These people are trying to find explanations that hide their racism and misogyny.
The hateful comments aside, the series is being praised by many critics for its cinematography, plot, and cast members. And most fans are just happy to see their favorite characters from the books on screen. So, this article is for those who enjoy the series and wonder about the actors who wrap themselves in these magical characters.
