Wondering when KonoSuba Season 3, one of the most popular comedy-genre anime, will be released? Then you are invited to this article!
In KonoSuba, our main character, Satou Kazuma, is a game freak and spends his days just playing games. One day, he sets out early to buy a newly released game, and when he finishes his work and returns, he sees a girl whom he resembles to the very beautiful girls in the games he played. While he is watching her in full admiration, he realizes that a truck is about to hit him from behind and saves the girl. But suddenly he loses consciousness and comes back, and finds himself in a completely different place.
In this different and fantastical place from which he came, he meets a blue-haired woman named Aqua who claims to be a god. He asks this woman if the girl is okay, and the answer he gets is that the truck is very slow, the girl will not die anyway, and he died needlessly because he had a heart attack while running. Kazuma, who is very angry at this, thinks that he will at least live comfortably in this fantasy world, as in the games he plays. However, this is a very wrong notion, because he has to work in construction to survive.
KonoSuba, which has a score of 7.8 on IMDb, started its broadcasting life in 2016. Written as a light novel by Natsume Akatsuki, the script was adapted for the screen by Kurone Mishima. KonoSuba‘s voice cast includes names such as Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahaski, Ai Kayano and Tetsu Inada.

Is there a KonoSuba season 3?
The 1st season of KonoSuba, which has been aired for two seasons so far, was broadcast in 2016 and the 2nd season in 2017. On top of that, there are two OVAs and a movie. It’s movie was released in 2019 and it’s called KonoSuba: Legend of Crimson. Since the movie is a continuation of the 2nd season, we recommend that you watch the movie before watching KonoSuba Season 3!
Coming to KonoSuba Season 3, we have good and bad news for you. We officially know that KonoSuba Season 3 is coming, they have good news on their website, but we have no idea when it will be released! We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out.
But to make a guess, we think KonoSuba Season 3 will arrive in January 2023. The other two seasons aired in January, if it continues to be stable, why not? Besides, we read news that Konosuba’s director, Takaomi Kanasaki, is currently working on another Project. This anime called Princess Connect was taking a lot of time and was a production that needed to be published frequently. For this reason, we do not think that KonoSuba Season 3 will be published before next year.
Is KonoSuba harem anime?
To explain this, let’s first define a harem anime. Anime genres with a boy and many girls around him are called harem anime. If you think of just a sexual thing when we say this, you’re wrong, animes involving a man and multiple women who are only friends or have no relationship at all are all harems.
After our explanation, we can say the answer to our question as both yes and no because KonoSuba lovers are also divided on this issue. First, yes, KonoSuba is a harem anime because there are obviously more female characters than male characters. Secondly no, KonoSuba is not a harem anime because there is only one character who falls in love with Kuazuma: Megumin. Maybe we can make a definitive judgment after KonoSuba Season 3, who knows?
Is KonoSuba kid friendly?
KonoSuba is not a very kid friendly production. We say this because there are many scenes that contain harsh words, curses, both nudity and dialogue that progress as if sex is going to be experienced at any moment. In addition, it contains dialogues on religion, belief, etc. There are many people who claim to be gods in different universes. For very young children, these can be extremely confusing. Therefore, just in case, keep children under 13 away from the screen while watching KonoSuba. There are much better anime productions for those age groups!
