Hunter X Hunter Season 7 Release Date Confirmed?

“Hunter X Hunter” is a great anime, it was made by Madhouse studio. It was adapted from Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga series. It started its run in 2011, and in 2014 it stopped its run with the “Election Arc”. Since then fans have been waiting for the seventh season.
It has been seven long years for those who are waiting for Season 7. Yet there has been no official news for the new season of the anime. Fans of the series are disappointed with this fact.

Added up to this, the health problems that Yoshihiro Togashi dealing with discouraged the fans from seeing the end of the anime and manga.

Even though there are lots of discouraging news, the cast of the show sparked excitement among the fandom with their posts on social media. Like Megumi Han’s, the voice actor of Gon Freecs, post, and our favorite Killua Zoldyck’s voice actor Mariya Ise. Megumi posted on Instagram and Mariya posted on Twitter. Some fans translated their posts and they are probably signaling the upcoming season of Hunter X Hunter.

When Will Season 7 Be Released?

Togashi is famous for his delays. But when the health problems that he has been dealing put into account, it is normal for him to write slower than usual. Thus it takes a long time for season 7 to be released.
On the other hand, the animation studio, Madhouse, proved to be quick in adapting the manga to anime. Their splendid work is something to be noted as they were quick to adapt the manga into 148 episodes in 3 years.

But Madhouse might have been trying a different approach than adapting. They may be trying to make their own work with an outline. Megumi and Isa’s posts might be the indicators of this approach.

With this being the case, we, the fans, should expect the new season of “Hunter x Hunter” at the end of 2021, however, this is just speculation.

Plot Details of Season 7

 Season 6 ended with a climactic episode. It was rated a whooping %97 in “Rotten Tomatoes”. Episode 148 ended with a heartwarming scene and fights between characters. 

It’s a known fact that we are going to see several epic anime fights and shocking scenes that would either make us sad or happy. Season 7 would be an end for the anime as Togashi desires to finish the manga series.

We don’t know the plot details of season 7, but we are expecting it to be the end of the long run of “Hunter X Hunter”.

We have all been waiting to see our favorite characters return. Yet there is no official confirmation about the cast of season 7. However, Megumi Han posted a photo of a microphone and said that she is very happy to return her “starting point” and was recording with her “partner”. It is something to be noted that voicing Gon Freecs is a pinnacle for Han, thus it is safe to guess that she is voicing Gon again. Also, Killua Zoldyck’s voice actor Maruya Ise posted on Twitter about how she is happy to meet up with her “partner” in the studio. These posts might signal the return of “Killua” and “Gon” in season 7 if both of them are doing recordings for Hunter X Hunter in the studio.
