Heartland Season 16 Release Date

Unfortunately, the series’ production company, CBS, still hasn’t commented on a renewal. However, Season 15 ended only a few months ago, so we believe that it’s still too early to announce the renewal. Considering the confirmations of the previous seasons, we assume that the release date of Heartland Season 16 will be announced two months after the airing of the Season 15 finale. Also, we believe that the next season will probably air in the fall of 2022.

Heartland Season 16 Cast

The hit series has recently lost two important characters: Ty (played by Graham Wardle) and Amy’s beloved horse Spartan (real name Stormy). Therefore, we assume that there will be no major changes in the cast in Heartland Season 16. The series will keep the core cast as it is. Now let’s take a look at the details.

On the one hand, at the beginning of the episode, Clint had asked Amy to come to the housing group because he was worried about Logan. Logan was considering not going back to school in the fall and getting a job instead. Amy decided to dig out Ty’s old college course book to show Logan how many alternatives he’s when he finishes his education. In the process, she discovered something else: a gift from Ty that he was never able to give her.

The Dr. Ty Borden Equestrian Youth Center was also inaugurated in Heartland Season 15, Episode 10. Clint agreed to take care of the facility full time and asked Logan if he wanted to move and work at the center permanently to take care of the horses and the children who attend the center, provided he finishes high school.

On the other hand, Lou thought about her when Amy talked her into going on a horseback ride with her. Lou said she still hasn’t decided what to do with Peter. Then the two reunited with a kiss.

Meanwhile, Tim and Jessica were worried about Jessica’s health when she returned from her New York trip. But when they talked to the doctor, it turned out that there was no need to worry because Jessica’s cancer didn’t return.

Lisa was preparing to enter her new horse, Platinum Bow, in the Kentucky Derby. When jockey Eddie got injured, Carlos was substituted for him to ride in the big race. Fortunately, Platinum Bow won the race.

Ty and Amy had such an effect on viewers that I think that CBS should go back to Graham and try to iron out a contract that will work for both. With less episodes Graham will have more free time to do his own thing. A show of this magnitude with family values that has continued for this long can’t be duplicated and neither can Ty. There were multiple chances for him to die in much more believable episodes but no, you continued too let us grow closer to them as a couple and as a integral part of the family. Graham, we know you have dreams too, but this show is impacting the children and adults of our countries. Families and extended families are no longer a thing of the past, they are a part of the future. The future that you gave a hope too. Hop back in now and give the show a boost before it continues to show a drop in ratings.
