Netflix is hosting Geeked Week 2022, which will take place for the second time between June 6 and 10. Geeked Week is a free virtual event that introduces viewers to Netflix’s series, movies and games. In addition, there will be exclusive news, celebrity appearances, new trailers for popular series on the streaming platform and much more. The best part about the event is that it can be seen on almost all social media platforms, including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Netflix’s Twitch channel.
The first day of the event, which begins June 6, featured series showcase, The Sandman Panel, The Umbrella Academy Panel and Most Presents: Vampire Pride with First Kill. To celebrate the opening day of Geeked Week 2022, we take a closer look at Netflix’s upcoming teen drama First Kill in this article. First Kill Netflix
Based on a short story by V. E. Schwab from Vampires Never Get Old: Tales With Fresh Bite, Netflix’s long-awaited mystery drama First Kill follows the love story of a queer couple. One is a teenage vampire ready to make her First Kill to become a true member of her vampire family, while the other is a female vampire slayer who is also ready to make her first kill to join the pursuit of her family.
Along with V.E. Schwab, Emma Roberts is also one of the executive producers of the series. The series was developed by Felicia D. Henderson, who also serves as executive producer, and directed by Jet Wilkinson, who’d go on to direct the first two episodes.
Filming on First Kill began in late 2021 in Savannah, Georgia. The supernatural teen drama will be released on Netflix on June 10, 2022, and the 1st season of the series will consist of 8 episodes.

It stars Sarah Catherine Hook, a 27-year-old actress we know for her role in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, as Juliette, the vampire who wants to commit her first murder and falls in love with the vampire hunter Calliope. On the other hand, Imani Lewis, the 23-year-old actress known for the TV series Hightown, plays the character Calliope in the Netflix series.

As the last event of the 1st day of Geeked Week 2022, Vampire Pride presented its viewers with a sneak peek of the upcoming Netflix series First Kill, which created a lot of hype among those who are already eagerly waiting for the series.
