The Ultimatum: Marry or Move on is the most recent Netflix reality series hit that released its last episode of the season a few weeks ago. The show’s 1st season consisted only of 10 episodes so, many viewers started to search for shows like The Ultimatum until the producers at Netflix bless us with The Ultimatum Season 2.
There are many reality series on the market at the moment, all with different concepts and rules. Some of them are not even half as controversial as The Ultimatum but some are even more. We all know the reason you watch reality series is because you want to see some drama. All of these shows we will be talking about below have all types of drama you can imagine.
1. 90 Day Fiance
This show is about the process of the K-1 visa which is issued to fiances of American citizens who are supposed to marry within 90 days or leave the country. The series follows this process of couples who applied for a K-1 visa and you witness if the couple is going to be able to deal with everything in 90 days or leave each other.
2. The Bachelor Franchise
We have so many things to say about such a sexist show as The Bachelor, which acts like more than 20 women every season are so miserable that they have to fight for the affection of a single man. The series, as its name signifies, is about a bachelor who eliminates women candidates among whom he has to find himself a wife.
3. Winter House
In this reality series, some of the cast members of 2 different reality shows come together. These 2 shows are Summer House and Southern Charm, whose members go on a winter vacation together in Vermont. The concept is simple: the men and women will spend 2 weeks together to see if something will spark up between them.
4. Wife Swap
One of the other shows like The Ultimatum is maybe the most controversial one on this list, Wife Swap. The show is literally about swapping wives/mothers between 2 families that have different lifestyles. For instance, sometimes a very tidy mother is swapped with an untidy one or a vegan one with a non-vegan for families to experience such cultural and social differences. After a few weeks, everyone returns to their original families and the show observes if there are any changes in the ways these families live.

5. Love on the Spectrum
Love on the Spectrum is a reality show that was well appreciated both by critics and viewers unlike other series on the list which received quite negative reviews. The show gained respect mostly because it involved young people who are on the autism spectrum. Love on the Spectrum follows these young people as they embark on a journey in the dating world for the 1st time.
6. Love Never Lies
Love Never Lies takes 6 couples who have trust issues to a villa to live altogether where they are subjected constantly to a lie detector test called EyeDetect. The couples are asked questions and if they answer with the truth, no matter how hurtful it might be for their partner, they will have a chance to win a €100.000 prize at the end. If they lie, €1.000 is subtracted from their overall money.
7. Too Hot to Handle
Too Hot to Handle is both a reality series and a game show since the contestants have the chance to win a $100.000 grand prize. The contestants live on an island together under some rules such as a ban on sex, kissing, and self-gratification. If they fail to follow the rules, portions of money are taken away from the overall grand prize. While some can follow the rules some give up right away, causing the cash prize to drop.
8. Love is Blind
Finally, the last show you can watch before The Ultimatum Season 2, is Love is Blind, in which participants from different genders are put in different pods where they cannot see but only hear each other through speakers. They have to decide if they want to get engaged with the other person based on a 10-days-long conversation without ever seeing the other person.
