Robbie Amell’s existence has proved to be even more perplexing and hectic than most people’s normal existence, and it’s just growing more so with the news of Upload Season 3. The dramatic end of Upload season two left a lot of mysteries, and possibly some lives, hanging in the balance. And it’s the type of life-changing event that even CTRL+ALT+DEL can’t undo.
As a result, viewers who sped through the current seven-episode season will have a lot of expectations for Upload Season 3, assuming it comes. We have some good news on that front. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about Upload Season 3.
What happened in Upload Season 2?
Before Upload Season 2 began, there were several crucial things to remember, one of which was how Nathan’s Beyond technology was utilized to construct Freeyond, a free competitor to Lakeview. There was just a day or two until Freeyond started in New York, and maybe all across the United States, at the end of Upload Season 2.
After uploading, a person loses the ability to vote in an upcoming election. Nora and Nathan noticed that although swing states were getting a lot of Freeyond stores, large cities with a lot of impoverished people, such as Los Angeles and New York, only got one.
She’s spent much of Season 2 claiming to upload into the virtual Lakeview world in order to be near to him, and she’s spent most of it in a bodysuit in a bathtub, which enables her to live in Lakeview without inquiry.
If we travel to Lakeview, we’ll most certainly see more of Kevin Bigley, who portrays Nathan’s ‘bestie’ Luke, and Owen Daniels, the lengthy AI Guy whose visage can be seen all throughout the system.
Aleesha (Zainab Johnson), Nora’s best friend, is also likely to come back, depending on where her alignment falls in her employment as an upload angel and her relationship with Nora.
Upload Season 3 Release Date
Season 2 of Upload has left us with many unanswered questions. We need answers immediately, which means we need to identify when Upload Season 3 will take place.
When we are faced with pressing questions, we want immediate answers. It’s only reasonable to wonder when we’ll be able to witness new seasons of our favorite series.
There is one thing we want to emphasize right now. Prime Video has not yet confirmed the extension for Upload Season 3. The authors, on the other hand, are already hard at work. It’s a solid indication that the renewal is on the way, and Prime Video only has to make it public.
It’s probable that we’ll see the new season next year. This is especially true now that the writing has begun. It all depends on when filming may begin.
The seven episodes were shot over the course of three months. Filming began in January 2021 and concluded in April 2021. The same scenario might happen with Upload Season 3, which is set to begin production later this year. After all, the filming was postponed owing to pandemic difficulties and these are less common nowadays.
The post-production step was the most time-consuming. There are so many digital aspects in the program, and they take so long to implement.
However, the 2nd season didn’t premiere on Amazon Prime Video until March 2022. If filming were to end in late 2022, we’d be looking at a late 2023 official release for Upload Season 3.
This is all assuming that filming can begin immediately. If there is a postponement, Upload Season 3 will be pushed until early 2024.

Upload Season 3 Cast
Upload has three significant players, so you can anticipate them all to return. Robbie Amell stars as tech-whiz-turned-dead-guy Nathan, who is now (kind of) back to life and living in normal, non-virtual reality.
Nora (Andy Allo), is a virtual-reality worker who, on the suggestion of her father, has joined the anti-tech movement The Ludds. She has, however, proven to be an excellent leader and is currently at the top of the anarchist movement.
But there is also Ingrid (Allegra Edwards), Nathan’s now old girlfriend who has taken great measures to retain him in her life.
