There will undoubtedly be a Season 4 of The Boys, and the upcoming season was first announced on June 10, 2022, but there has not been much discussed about the official release date. Star Karl Urban stated that production for Season 4 would begin in August 2022, and if that is true, we might watch Season 3 in 2023 because sometime around 2023 appears to be a fair bet.

We know what we have to work with from the end of Season 3 to discuss the possible plots of Season 4, and it’s quite a bunch to discover. Butcher’s brain has turned into cheese as a result of way too much Temp-V, and he has been given months to live, so he might be the one who will depart in The Boys Season 4.

More importantly, Homelander laser-cut the head of a protestor, and his adoring fans cheered him on. Homelander was joined at this event by his son Ryan who met with some bad guys, and all of this is bad.

Even more, a new spin-off of The Boys, The Boys Presents: Varsity was also commissioned in 2020 and is now under production, so we might see the spin-off project first before The Boys Season 4 arrives. Varsity has been characterized as a university spinoff of The Boys, with the show set at Godolkin School of Crimefighting.

Hughie Campbell

Temp V was one of the major story elements of Season 3 of The Boys, and this sparked a heated debate with Annie because Hughie’s motivation for using Temp V was to be powerful to defend her. Annie, on the other hand, didn’t appreciate how he was meddling and continuously putting himself in danger. Furthermore, this disagreement led to a significant schism between the pair.

Maeve was largely missing from this season of The Boys since she was imprisoned, and in the end, she is able to escape captivity and collaborate with The Boys. However, the struggle between Homelander and Soldier Boy swiftly devolved into a confrontation with Maeve focusing mostly on Homelander. But, in the end, she understood that if Soldier Boy used his abilities again, he would kill thousands of innocent people, so she sacrificed herself.

Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher

Butcher has been on Team Soldier Boy’s side throughout the season since he feels he is the key to murdering Homelander, which is one of his main aims. We think Soldier Boy was a terrific addition to this show, but everybody knows that he wasn’t the most stable character, and at the end of Season 3, Butcher realizes how twisted up Soldier Boy is. When Soldier Boy attacked Homelander, Butcher, who has had a difficult run this season, switched sides. What waits for us in The Boys Season 4 is a complete mystery from now on.

What is Herogasm?

Homelander

Adapted from The Boys Season 3, Episode 6 The Boys: Herogasm is a comic about a superhero sex party festival that took part in the season. Herogasm was adapted for Season 3 of The Boys and is a notorious miniseries based on Garth Ennis’ comic book tale that The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has been building. The Boys Herogasm episode debuted in the 3rd season, and how to adapt the plot to match the vastly different fictional universe of The Boys series was very difficult.

The Boys was a contentious franchise, and the book was unexpectedly terminated after 6 issues owing to its unusually explicit violence.
