Shadows House Anime Series

Shadows House has a very supernatural, slice-of-life atmosphere. Not many shows can reach it, and that’s why the show is loved by many. The Season 2 finale recently left fans wanting more, and they are eagerly waiting for the show’s renewal.

The renewal did not officially come, however, Shadows House Season 3 will highly likely happen. The manga series has a lot of material left for adaptation. CloverWorks will probably put into note that the series has grossed a rating of 7.4/10 on IMDb. It is very popular and deserves a 3rd Season. If it happens, Shadows House Season 3 could come around July 2023. We will update you with any new information!

Shadows House Season 2 Ending Explained

Shadows House Season 2

Shadows House Season 2 consisted of 12 episodes and the season finale was released on September 23rd, 2022. In the ending, we saw that Barbara and the other star-bearers turned Maryrose into Edward to have her face justice for the things she made. But, as luck would have it, things don’t go as planned and Maryrose’s powers don’t let her overcome Edward, but she manages to make a mess!

She falls off the tower and into an uncertain future. Edward is raged with anger but can’t put the blame on anyone. Because of the Letter of Consent, Maryrose’s actions helped the star-bearers to wash their hands of the crimes committed.

To put it simply, the Letter of Consent is some kind of a declaration that the star-bearers, along with the other residents of the children’s building are not responsible for anything that takes place in the adults’ building. Edward probably agreed to this, so he’s the one to blame and not anyone else. This enrages him more, as he was keen to put the blame on Barbara. At least in the end the children escaped safely – for now.

Is Shadows House hentai?

A “hentai” is a genre of Japanese manga and anime where characters are overtly sexualized, and they involve sexually explicit images and plots. The genre for Shadows House is officially known as “Gothic Mystery Supernatural”.

The show is dark, compelling, and intriguing at best. But it also focuses on a peppy, bubbly main character. Shadows House is PG-13, which means that the show is for ages 13 and older. There are some elements within the anime series that could disturb younger children but to call an anime a “hentai” I think you need more than what happens at Shadows House. The message behind it is more like an exploration of class-based abuse.

So, the genre of the show is “Gothic Mystery Supernatural” and there might be some “hentai doujin” stuffed somewhere along the characters, but it’s not obvious to the viewers. If you’re intrigued, you can catch all episodes of the anime series on Netflix in selected regions! The 3rd season of the show is hopefully coming around July 2023!
