The Starz series P-Valley premiered its 2nd season on June 3 and has been releasing episodes weekly. P-Valley Season 2, different from the 1st one, will have 10 episodes. We have already seen the 1st 6 episodes of this season, and now it is time to see the following 4, which will be released on July 17, 24, 31, and August 7. There is still no news about the show’s future, although it was renewed for a 2nd season only 2 weeks after its Season 1 premiere. Maybe Starz wants to wait longer to see if the show still thrives in viewership numbers.
Reviews for the 2nd season were not as good as the ones for the 1st series. While Season 1 received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, P-Valley Season 2 received an 89%, which is still pretty impressive but also a sign that the show’s quality may be decreasing. If there is one aspect of the show that the reviewers agree on, it’s the success of its cast members, especially female ones, who rock as dancers with their beautiful choreography and evident dedication. For fans, too, we know the P-Valley cast is one of the main reasons people like the show, so here is a brief sneak peek into the cast members.
Brandee Evans

In the series, Brandee Evans (37) plays one of the main characters Mercedes Woodbine who is one of the strippers working in The Pynk (a strip club in Mississippi). Mercedes is tough, and she dreams of leaving The Pynk to open a dance gym. For most of her career, Evans played supporting roles, and P-Valley is her 1st leading role. Before the Starz series, the actress had minor roles in The Family Business (2020-2021) and The Bobby Brown Story (2018). Evans doesn’t share much about her dating life.
Nicco Annan

Another P-Valley cast member is Nicco Annan, who plays Uncle Clifford, the owner of The Pynk. Uncle Clifford is non-binary and deals with the club’s financial issues, trying to save it from being closed down. The 33-year-old actor appeared in a few tv series, including Shameless, This is Us, and Snowfall. The actor is openly gay, and he doesn’t share much about his dating life, so we don’t know if he has a partner or not.
Miracle Watts

Miracle Watts has only joined the show in P-Valley Season 2, but she already made her mark with her character Big Bone, the new bartender of The Pynk. This show can be considered Watts’ acting debut since she only played herself in a short movie called HHH (2017) before P-Valley. She is a full-time model and has her beauty line: “The Miracle Lash.” Watts (29) is dating one of her co-stars in the show’s cast, Tyler Lepley, with whom she met on the set of Season 2.

Elarica Johnson
Elarica Johnson and Brandee Evans in P-Valley
Elarica Johnson (33) plays Hailey Colton, aka Autumn Night, in the series, a new dancer coming to town. Johnson has mainly played supporting roles, including playing a waitress in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and How to Talk to Girls at Parties (2016). Johnson was rumored to have a short relationship with British rapper MC Harvey, but she is currently single.
Shannon Thornton
Shannon Thornton
Shannon Thornton plays another stripper in the series Keyshawn Harris / Miss Mississippi, who is also a rapper. Keyshawn is constantly abused by her boyfriend Derrick (Jordan M. Cox). Thornton, 34, is known for Dynasty (2021), Power (2018), and Rise (2018). Thornton has not revealed anything about a potential partner or husband.
J. Alphonse Nicholson

J. Alphonse Nicholson is another vital member of the P-Valley cast. He plays an aspiring rapper called Lil Murda, whose actual name is LaMarques. He is the love interest of Uncle Clifford. Nicholson (37) is known for Mother’s Milk (2021), Wheels (2020), and Tales (2017-2019). Nicholson is married to Nafeesha Nicholson, with whom he shares posts on Instagram. Most recently, the actor celebrated his partner’s birthday with this photo.
Tyler Lepley
Tyler Lepley
The last cast member we’re mentioning is Tyler Lepley, who plays Diamond, The Pynk’s bouncer. Diamond is an Iraq War veteran. Lepley (35) is best known for his role as Benjamin in The Haves and the Have Nots (2013-2021). He is also playing in the tv series Harlem (2021- ). As we mentioned, Lepley is dating Miracle Watts from the same series.
