Based on the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts, My Policeman is a hotly anticipated romantic film drama centered around a gay police officer and his same-sex love in 1950s Brighton. Harry Styles

The 28-year-old singer and actor Harry Styles has gained worldwide fame thanks to his appearance as a solo contestant on The X Factor and later through his participation in the music band One Direction. In addition to his music career, Styles has also thrown himself into acting. His first feature film is Christopher Nolan’s 2017 film Dunkirk, and he later made a cameo appearance in Marvel Studios’ Eternals in 2021 and starred in the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling. More recently, the up-and-coming actor joined My Policeman cast with is role as Tom Burgess, a gay policeman who marries a school teacher named Marion while involved with a museum curator.
According to reports, Harry is dating Olivia Wilde, the 38-year-old director of Don’t Worry Darling, whom he met while filming.

David Dawson
David Dawson as Patrick Hazlewood
David Dawson is a 40-year-old actor who plays the role of Patrick Hazlewood, a museum curator and partner of Tom Burgess, in My Policeman. He’s best known to a wide audience for his roles in TV series such as The Last Kingdom, Ripper Street, Year of the Rabbit and The Secret Agent. The actor has also received nominations for his stage appearances. In addition to TV and stage appearances, Dawson also starred in films such as All the Old Knives and London Boulevard, to name a few.
Dawson identifies as part of the LGBTQ community. He keeps a big secret about his relationships, though. However, we assume that he’s not currently dating anyone.
Emma Corrin

Emma Corrin is a 26-year-old actor who plays the character Marion Taylor, the wife of Tom, a gay policeman, in My Policeman. Corrin came out as queer in 2021. Later, in 2022, they announced on their Instagram account that they uses the pronouns “they/them”. Later, they talked about being non-binary in an interview with The New York Times.
For their portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown Season 4, they won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama and were nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. They had appearances in two other TV series, namely Grantchester and Pennyworth.
According to reports, Emma isn’t currently in a relationship.

The 58-year-old actor Linus Roache is in My Policeman cast with his role as an older version of Tom in My Policeman. The actor is best known for his role as executive ADA Michael Cutter in Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also played Ecbert, King of Wessex in Vikings from 2014 to 2017. Among the films Roache has appeared in are Batman Begins, Pandaemonium and The Wings of the Dove. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role as Robert F. Kennedy in RFK (2002).

The 63-year-old actor, director and producer Rupert Everett is one of the most famous and talented artists to join My Policeman cast. He plays the older version of Patrick in the film. The multi-award winning actor first gained attention in 1981 with his role as a gay pupil at an English public school in the 1930s in Another Country; the role earned him his first BAFTA Award nomination. He made a career leap in 1997 with his role in My Best Friend’s Wedding, for which he received a second BAFTA nomination and his first Golden Globe Award nomination. He later received a second Golden Globe nomination in 1999 for his role in An Ideal Husband.
The actor has an extensive filmography, which means that he’s starred in a number of movies and TV series. Among the recent series in which he starred are Quacks, The Name of the Rose and Adult Material.
Although Everett is very reserved about his relationship, it’s known that he has a long-term relationship with Brazilian accountant Henrique. According to reports, the couple has been together for 13 years.
Gina McKee

Gina McKee is a 58-year-old actress who stars in My Policeman cast with her role as an older version of Marion. She’s best known for her roles in the TV series The Lost Prince, Our Friends in the North and The Street. People also know her for her role as Caterina Sforza in The Borgias.
