When it comes to sci-fi, there are multiple sub-genres to choose from. There are space thrillers, dystopic futures, and, of course, apocalyptic dramas. When it comes to the last one, Into the Night comes as a fresh breath of air as it provides a Belgian aesthetic in a highly dark atmosphere. Naturally, despite the fact that the 2nd installment to the series just got aired, Into the Night Season 3 release date is already the biggest question in fans’ minds.
With an impressive 7.1 IMDb score, the series is one of the most successful Netflix projects. It already paved the way for a spin-off that will revolve around a Turkish language submarine that will be premiered in 2022. Since the show takes place in the near future, it is much more realistic than similar projects in the genre, which is both creepy and attractive at the same time.
Let’s see when is the Into the Night Season 3 release date and what to expect from this 3rd installment to the Belgian series.
Will there be a 3rd season of Into the Night?
Since the 2nd Season of Into the Night just got premiered back in September 2021, there is no official renewal from Netflix yet regarding the coming of a brand new season. However, based on the popularity of the show, it is safe to assume that there will be a 3rd season of Into the Night, and maybe even more.

Into the Night Season 3 Cast
It is expected from Into the Night Season 3 cast to be more or less similar to the Season 2 cast, meaning that we will welcome Pauline Etienne as Sylvie Bridgette Dubois, Laurent Capelluto as Mathieu Daniel Douek, Stefano Cassetti as Terenzio Matteo Gallo, Mehmet Kurtuluş as Ayaz Kobanbay, Babetida Sadjo as Laura Djalo, Jan Bijvoet as Richard – Rik – Mertens, and Ksawery Szlenkier as Jakub Kieslowski.
Regarding the characters on the show, Cassetti previously said in the interview that “In every character, there is a bit of truth you can agree with, like almost every point of view, or at least I push myself to find it. When you find that path, even very narrow, you can bring yourself in and it is easier to make it human. Terenzio is a very interesting character because his behavior contains some paradox: he is a soldier in a time of crisis, he has a weapon but he pushes for democracy and for sharing any decision; his only aim is to save his life but he is able to turn his instinct for self-preservation into the more attractive role of savior of everybody. Contradicting behaviors can be a very powerful fuel for actors.”
