Governor Perry
Yellowstone fans have met a diverse range of Dutton family friends and adversaries over the course of the show’s 4 seasons. The cool, collected, and somewhat enigmatic governor of Montana, Lynelle Perry, played by Wendy Moniz, appears to be a friend (or at least an ally) of the Duttons.
This woman of Yellowstone shares certain key political and intellectual convictions with John though they also have some healthy disagreements, and she has supported his son Jamie’s political ambitions. Lynelle and John have created a semi-romantic friendship that has tempted viewers with a “are they/aren’t they?” curiosity about the relationship’s future.

Another livestock agent draws his gun, and the mob begins recording and insulting him.
Caroline Warner
Market Equities CEO Caroline’s first appearance on the show has seemed to signal a shift in strategy for the firm; she suggests that they will defeat the Dutton family not with guns and violence, but by trying to bring the full force of their financial resources to endure on the ranch and its owners in order to force them to sell up.
Caroline’s scheme involves paying off neighbors such as Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) in order to isolate the family and force them to give up the ranch. But life aboard Yellowstone is rarely tranquil for long. If Caroline is going to be the next bad guy on Yellowstone, she’s not going to be shy to get her hands dirty when the chips are down.
