Heartland Season 15 Ending Explained
Season 15’s finale episode called Leaving A Legacy aired on 19 December 2021. In this final episode, the show’s main character Amy Fleming received an unexpected gift from Ty’s mother Lily. This gift was a check for a large sum of money. Apparently, the racehorse called Howler, who was brought to Heartland by Lily, has been earning a lot of money thanks to Amy who has worked with Howler. These winnings made Lily give some part of that money to Amy but our protagonist was reluctant to accept the money. So, throughout the episode, she was thinking about whether to accept the money or not.
The episode witnessed Amy worrying over not only the check but also Logan and Cooper’s center. Logan was thinking of dropping from school and finding another job since it was kind of obvious that Cooper’s center was not going to make it any longer. So, while trying to convince Logan to stay in high school Amy started to rummage through Ty’s office in hopes of finding his old college sourcebook. While searching Amy found a gift that Ty was supposed to give her for their 6th year anniversary.
In the note next to the gift, Ty was talking about how Amy and Heartland had changed his life. This made Amy realize and decide what she will do with the money. She decided to put the money in the center to make it keep going which also made Logan stay in high school.
In the other storylines of the show, major events happened as well. For example, Lou finally decided to get back together with Peter with the help of their daughter Katie.
We also saw Jessica coming back from New York worried about her doctor’s appointment. They were waiting for good or bad news from her doctor and Tim was with his wife throughout the whole process. When they heard back finally from their doctor, the couple was relieved because Jessica was fine and cancer did not return.
In the last storyline, Lisa enters her horse, Platinum Bow, into the famous Kentuck Derby. Upset and distressed because her jockey got injured at the last minute, Lisa and Jack found another hockey with the help of Eddie. With that hockey, Platinum Bow won the race while everyone at home was watching and then celebrating.
