Hellbound, a k-drama series that premiered on Netflix on November 19, 2021, garnered a lot of attention and was well-received by k-drama fans. We couldn’t stop ourselves from binge-watching the show. Because of the outstanding performances in the TV series, the Hellbound cast caught the interest of the hit drama’s audiences as well.
Hellbound Cast
Hellbound is a dark fantasy TV series based on the webtoon of the same name. The series was directed by Yeon Sang-ho, who is most known for his work on the blockbuster live-action film Train to Busan.
Hellbound is a South Korean film set between 2022 and 2027 that follows the unearthly angels that condemn individuals to Hell and give rise to a religious organization called the New Truth Society, which is based on the notion of divine justice. Let’s get right to the Hellbound cast without going into too much detail about the show for those who haven’t seen it yet.
Yoo Ah-in
Yoo Ah-in as Jeong Jin-soo
Yoo Ah-in, also known as Uhm Hong-sik, is a 35-year-old Korean actor best known for his roles in critically acclaimed films such as Burning, Secret Affair, and Veteran. He has also appeared in TV shows such as Six Flying Dragons, Descendants of the Sun, and Chicago Typewriter. The well-known actor has won and been nominated for numerous awards, including the SBS Drama Awards and the Asia Artist Awards. Yoo Ah-in plays Jeong Jin-soo, a cult leader of the New Truth Society, in Hellbound.
Yoo Ah-in has previously been rumored of being gay, but he denied it. He did, however, recently post some photos with a guy on his Instagram account. Thus, he is said to have a rich boyfriend who is a well-known photographer.
Kim Hyun-joo

The 44-year-old actress Kim Hyun-joo is known by the general public for her performances in the TV series I Have a Lover, Twinkle Twinkle, and Toji, the Land, for which she won multiple awards, including the Korea Drama Award and the SBS Drama Award. She also made appearances in music videos. In addition, she starred in the TV shows Undercover and Watcher before joining the Hellbound cast as Min Hye-jin, an attorney.
False rumors circulated that Kim Hyun-joo was dating So Ji-sub and Lee Dong-wook, however, she is reported as currently single.
Kim Mi-soo
Kim Mi-soo as Deacon Young-in
Kim Mi-soo was a 29-year-old actress who had recently acted in the k-drama Snowdrop, in which she co-starred with one of Blackpink’s members Jisoo, before passing away unexpectedly on January 5, 2022. Yumi’s Cells, Drama Special, and Into the Ring were among the TV shows that helped her gain popularity. Her final performance before her death was in Hellbound, where she played Deacon Young-in of the New Truth.
We don’t have any definite information on Kim Mi-soo’s relationship status because she lived a low-key life.

Park Jung-min

Park Jung-min is a 35-year-old actor who is known for starring in films such as Deliver Us from Evil, Bleak Night, and Keys to the Heart. Entourage and Mr. Sunshine are two of his most recent TV appearances. The love drama Shooting Stars, which will be released on April 22, 2022, is also the TV show in which he will appear. In Hellbound, he plays Bae Young-jae, a production director at a broadcasting station.
Park Jung-min is the author of the best-selling novel A Useful Person, in addition to his acting career. Unfortunately, there is no information about his love life on the internet.
Won Jin-A

The 31-year-old actress Won Jin-A is best known for his roles in the TV series Rain or Shine as Ha Moon-soo, for which she garnered a Baeksang Arts Award nomination, and Life as Lee No-eul. She recently starred in the TV series She Would Never Know before starring in Hellbound as Song So-hyun, Bae Young-jae’s wife. She also appeared in movies including Long Live The King, Voice, and A Year-End Medley.
Won Jin-a was said to be dating her Long Live The King co-star Choi Jae Hwan. They declared, however, that they are just colleagues. For the time being, we’ll assume the lovely actress is single.
Kim Shin-rok

Kim Shin-rok is a 40-year-old actress who appeared in the 2018 film Burning alongside Yooh Ah-in. In addition, she appeared in two other films, Dimmer and Purpose of Love. She appeared in a number of TV shows, including You Are My Spring, Beyond Evil, and The Cursed. She plays Park Jeong-ja, a single mother subject to the first public demonstration in Hellbound.
Kim Shin-rok has been married to Park Kyung Chan since 2016.
