Naturally, whenever a new season of Heartland is on, we are more than happy and appreciate every single second of it as a treasure. Nevertheless, recently, rumors are revolving all around the internet, claiming that Heartland Season 15 will be the very last season of the show, which is something that we would hate to acknowledge.
These claims are not coming out of anywhere. They have been around for almost two years since Season 14 has caused major controversy among the fan base. In Season 14, we witnessed one of our favorite characters, Ty, being killed. It Was a sudden death that we all were shocked by, and it completely shifted the course of the show.

Expectedly, fans were outraged and demanded Ty back. And yet, it was a hopeless request, as the actor who was playing the character, Graham Wardle, had already moved on. During this period, many fans decided to leave the show behind, and not watch it any longer. Since the ratings have dropped radically, many argued at the time that the show’s end was near. Thankfully, they were wrong, and we got to have a Heartland Season 15.
Now, what has changed since then? Why do we believe right now that it is not likely for the Heartland to be canceled? Well, because Heartland Season 15 has turned out to be way better than our expectations. The season has the quality of the old Heartland seasons but also embraces the modern aesthetic perfectly. It has a light, positive tone that appreciates each character’s arc while giving them enough screen time.
The premise of the season is also amazing since it focuses on moving on from the mourning and going back to life once again. This is exactly what we wanted from Heartland, and now, we got it. Still, there is only one episode left for the season to come to an end, and people are still arguing that this might be the last time that we watch Heartland.

Will Heartland Continue?
In our opinion, Heartland will continue at least one more season, simply because there are still many things that we need to learn about. Many questions still need to be answered. Will Amy change her career path? Will she find happiness in love again? Will Lou be together with Peter? Will Tim and Jessica manage to stay married? All these questions are still hanging in the air, and we do not believe that a single episode would be enough to answer them all. We don’t even know whether Georgie and Quinn get married or not. As fans, we would not be content if any of these questions remain unanswered.
Besides, we know that the show is still one of the biggest ones on the CBC network, which means that the media company would not let the series go this easily. They would probably prepare some kind of a farewell party to make sure that there will be a grand finale to the show. Heartland has been on the air for 15 years and at this point, it is television royalty. Therefore, saying goodbye to Heartland as if it is just another ordinary series is impossible.

How will Heartland end?
What would be the satisfactory ending for the Heartland then? Well, first of all, we need to see all those aforementioned questions be answered. Amy needs to have a new love interest that we fans also appreciate. Lou needs to have certain whether she will be with Peter or not. Georgie and Quinn should come back to the show so that we can have a proper ending for the two. Besides, we expect the show to have multiple spin-offs. This good premise cannot be left alone with only one series.
Therefore, we expect to have a spin-off, probably starring Lyndy and Katie, showing their future to us. They are the heirs of Heartland and deserve to have their shows. In this way, we would get to see Ty’s impact on Lyndy, as her arc would probably focus on her father’s impact on her life. Of course, this means that we would also have an older Amy, who will guide her through her life. We are not sure who would be good enough to play the old Amy though.
