On the first day of Geeked Week, in addition to the new season promotions of its existing series, it also introduced a lot of new series to be released. The Midnight Club is one of them!
The Midnight Club will meet with us, adapted from Christopher Pike’s book of the same name. A group of teenagers meet in the middle of the night to tell each other horror stories, as we’ve all done at least once. But they have one difference, they all have a deadly disease.
These young people, who have a special interest in stories about ghosts, make a deal between them. For the first time, the deceased will visit them in the form of a ghost to tell what happened after his death, and he will tell what he went through. Their deal comes true because strange events begin to happen where they meet and they all start to die in turn. The place where these young people meet and share their horror stories is Rotterdam Home. This is a nursing home for the terminally ill and its owner is a very mysterious doctor.
In the book The Midnight Club, the teenagers are also residents of Rotterdam Home, a hospice for the terminally ill run by a mysterious doctor. Written by Christopher Pike, this book is extremely scary and intriguing. We wonder how faithful the producers of the series, Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy, will stick to the book, and what will add to it and lock us on the screen.
We have no doubts that Flanagan and Macy will do a good job. Because the productions adapted from these two books are also the producers of The Haunting of Hill House and The Turn of the Screw. You know how much they are loved, if you haven’t watched them yet, we strongly recommend you to watch these two productions.
Let’s explain the curious things about the series, including The Midnight Club release date!

According to information from Geeked Week, The Midnight Club cast includes Iman Benson, Adia, Annarah Cymone, William Chris Sumpter, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, and Sauriyan Sapkota. The series also stars Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint, Patricia Drake, Zach Gilford, and Heather Langenkamp.
While there are generally new folks to meet, we’ve got Iman Benson from #BlackAF, Annarah Cymone and Igby Rigney from Midnight Mass, Ruth Codd from The Fall of the House of Usher, and Aya Furukawa from The Cabin in the Woods.
Is Midnight Club related to Midnight Mass?
Yes. Both are adaptations of Christopher Pike’s book The Midnight Club and some of the actors who appeared in Midnight Mass are also featured in The Midnight Club.
However, on the other hand, at Midnight Mass, we witness the events unfolding on a small island and things change a bit when a new faith leader arrives on this island. As we mentioned earlier, The Midnight Club follows the evolving story of a group of terminally ill youth. As we watch the series, we will be able to talk more about the similarities and differences between them. We eagerly await!
