As you may know, if you’re a fan of the series, it’s about the rivalry between the US and the Soviet Union in space flight.
For All Mankind presents an alternate world in which rivalry persists, focusing on the lives of the astronauts and engineers at the heart of the space race and their families who are caught up in it. In the series, Joel Kinnaman plays Edward Baldwin, one of NASA’s most successful astronauts.

Charles Joel Nordström Kinnaman, 43, is a Swedish-American creating a strong known for starring in AMC’s The Killing, as Takeshi Kovacs in Altered Carbon’s first season, and as Governor Will Conway in the American version of House of Cards.
Edward Baldwin, one of the key protagonists in For All Mankind, is played by Joel Kinnaman. Everything came crashing down when the Soviets landed on the Moon first, even though he was previously hailed as one of NASA’s top astronauts.
Baldwin is the Commander of Apollo 10, a training mission for Apollo 11.

Michael Dorman is a New Zealand actor born on April 26, 1981. In For All Mankind, he plays Gordo Stevens.
Stevens was a member of Apollo 10, which came near landing on the Moon but did not since it was not part of their mission. When the Soviets arrived on the Moon soon after, Gordo and Edward Baldwin were chastised for failing to accomplish so.

Sarah Jones was born in Winter Springs, Florida, United States of America on July 17, 1983. She is an actor and cinematographer who has worked on films such as For All Mankind (2019), Damnation (2017), and The Path (2016).
Tracy Stevens is one of the characters in For All Mankind. Tracy is one of four female astronauts chosen for the Apollo program. Tracy’s mother opposed her learning to fly and did not talk to her for months. However, she managed to persuade her brother to teach her for $25.

Shantel Van Santen (born July 25, 1985) is an actress from the United States. Karen Baldwin is one of the characters of For All Mankind. Her husband is NASA astronaut Edward Baldwin. While Ed was on a mission in Jamestown, her son, Shane Baldwin, continued getting into mischief.
She ultimately lost her cool, which resulted in Shane fleeing and being involved in an accident that left him to brain dead. Karen was then faced with the painful decision of letting her kid go.
Karen tried to conceal this from Edward for him to stay focused, but she finally had to convey the awful news.

Jodi Balfour is a South African actress who was born on October 24, 1987. He has appeared in films and on television best known for her roles as Gladys Witham in Bomb Girls and For All Mankind.
Ellen Wilson (née Waverly) is a character in the film For All Mankind. She is a NASA astronaut candidate who wants to be the first woman to walk on the Moon.
When Patty Doyle died during LM training, Deke Slayton was under pressure to stop the program so he could focus on building a permanent lunar base. Deke, on the other hand, picked Ellen above the other astronaut candidates, and Ellen became one of NASA’s first four female astronauts.

Sonya Walger was born in London, England, on June 6, 1974. She is an actress notable for her roles in Efsane Avcs (2004), Kayp (2004), and Flashforward (2004). (2009). Since July 2009, she has been married to Davey Holmes.
Molly Cobb is a fictitious character from For All Mankind. After President Nixon declares his ambition to send a woman to the Moon, Molly becomes a NASA astronaut candidate. She was the best student in her class and graduated first as one of the first four American women to complete NASA’s Astronaut training program.
When Deke Slayton took over as Lunar Module Pilot for the Apollo 15 mission, Molly became the first American woman in space and on the Moon.
