Heartland, the Canadian TV series is based on the book series by Lauren Brooke. The series first debuted on TV screens on October 14, 2007, and 15 seasons were released since. Heartland follows Amy and her older sister Lou Fleming on their family ranch based in Alberta. They live with their grandfather (Jack) and father (Tim). We watch as the family bond together while going through the ups and downs of life at the ranch.
After the end of Season 15, fans were patiently waiting for renewal. Guess what? They got it and Season 16 of Heartland is set to premiere on October 2, 2022! But questions like the returning of the full cast have emerged among the fans. One is “did Tim Fleming leave Heartland?”. This question is the result of Tim’s lack of screen time in season 15 and that was the result of a plot from Season 14. Let’s see if we’ll see more of Tim Fleming.

Tim Fleming, portrayed by Chris Potter first came on to screen after his ex-wife died in Season 1 of Heartland. He had drug and alcohol problems and that’s why he was kicked out of the ranch. Later, he returns to Big River Ranch near Heartland. He then spends his time reconnecting with his daughters, keeping his life on track. He has many plotlines throughout the 14 seasons of the show.
The last we saw, he was happily involved with Jessica, a guest at the ranch. They were settling back into life at the ranch together. But Jessica was hiding something from him, and this left him with a lot of worries.

Is Tim still in Heartland in Season 16?

As the premiere date approaches for Heartland, news comes flooding in with it! So far, we know the sad passing of Heartland’s Finn Cotter’s (Robert Cormier) tragic passing at the age of 33. Also, the show will premiere on October 2 in Canada but that outside of Canada will probably have to wait until 2023.
Questions such as “is Tim still in Heartland?” also rose within the fanbase of the show. We are happy to announce yes, Chris Potter will continue his role as Tim Fleming on your favorite one-hour drama! In fact, in the synopsis and the trailer that was released, we see him as happy as he could be in his marriage with Jessica, but “his past will force him to reconsider mistakes he made years ago and seek ways to atone for them”. We also see some familiar faces from Tim’s past come back!

Folks, if you watched the latest season of the beloved series, you know that Tim and Jessica are settling at the ranch and will not be going to New York. But Jessica did go to New York after the wedding to sort everything out there and sell her condo. When she came back, things didn’t feel very normal to Tim.
He tried to figure it out but was unsuccessful. However, when he picked up a call for her lovely wife, he was shocked to hear everything that’s been happening. When Jessica was in New York, she had a doctor’s appointment. She went, got some tests done, and her doctor said that if she doesn’t hear anything from him, then all is good. But while she was set to return home, her doctor called, and she was too scared to pick up the phone.
They made the appointment to go and see a doctor in Calgary and he was right there by her wife. As it turns out, Doctor Wilson said that everything is fine, her cancer did not come back and she’s all clear. We can all take a big breath, and patiently wait for the newest season to reveal more about the couple’s marriage!

When we’ll we see heartland in the u.s. Can’t wait wait to watch season 16 never miss a show since it started. I’m so hooked on it.
