As a continuation of the 1982 film of the same name written by Stephen King, Creepshow has garnered a massive fan base with its 1st 3 seasons and now we cannot wait for Creepshow Season 4. After the original movie, a graphic novel of the same name was published by Penguin. Creepshow the television series is based on the stories of this comic book which consisted of 5 stories although in the tv show each episode includes 2 stories.
The series premiered in September 2019 and just a month later it was renewed for a 2nd season which premiered in April 2021. Even before the release of the 2nd season though, the show was already renewed for a 3rd season and that came out in September 2021. The continuation of the series season after season may be traced back to its critical success since the 1st season of the series holds a rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Most reviews contend that the series is entertaining, enjoyable, and even better than the original Stephen King film.
It has been a few months since the end of Season 3 so it is only reasonable for us to wonder about the Creepshow Season 4 release date.
Creepshow Season 4 release date
Not surprisingly, the series was renewed for a 4th season, but the announcement arrived a little bit late from Shudder (the platform where Creepshow can be streamed). Usually, the outlet would announce a new season only a month after the release of the previous season but this time we heard it 5 months after the 3rd season. This caused concern for many fans who were beginning to think they were not going to be able to watch Creepshow anymore but Shudder did not disappoint.
The announcement was only limited to the renewal of the show so we were not given a release date. Considering the release dates of the previous 2 seasons, Creepshow Season 4 will probably come out no earlier than September 2022. Since the announcement was made just 2 months ago and considering the filming hasn’t finished yet, there is no trailer for the 4th season.

Creepshow Season 3 ending explained
The last episode of Creepshow’s Season 3 included 2 stories: “Drug Traffic” and “Dead Girl Named Sue”. In the Drug Traffic, a young girl called Mai has to cross the border from the US to Mexico in order to access life-saving medication which is impossible to find in America. However, the family gets detained and her symptoms become more and more distressing and Mai is revealed to be an Asian cryptid called a “Krause“. The cryptid has the ability to detach her head from her organs to be able to eat people faster and better.
It turns out that she needed the medicine in order to reduce the symptoms that turn her into a monster and the story is trying to give a few messages, from immigration to healthcare.
The other story of the season final, Dead Girl Named Sue is set at the beginning of a zombie plague and is shot in black and white. In the story, figuring it’s the end of the world and they have nothing to lose, citizens of a small town in 1968 assemble a lynch mob to take down a local child murderer. The man has wronged many citizens of the town, thus the act of revenge against him, but he got away with it because he is the mayor’s son.
When the townspeople come to the police station to take down the mayor’s son, he is protected by the Chief police officer Foster who says he is sworn to protect everyone and does not let the town do anything to him. But Foster’s integrity dissolves when he is faced with the hard reality, that people like the mayor use their privilege to get away with crimes. Then he lets the town punish the murderer.
