Evan Peters plays the role of Dahmer in the series. In addition to Peters, the series also features Richard Jenkins, Penelope Ann Miller and Colin Ford. The series received four Golden Globe nominations and became the second most-watched English-language series of all time on Netflix in 28 days.
2. The White Lotus
The White Lotus
The White Lotus is an anthology dark comedy series developed by Mark White. Set in a tropical resort hotel in Hawaii, the series follows the lives of the hotel’s employees and guests for a week. The 1st season of the series was released in July 2021. Although The White Lotus was planned as a limited series, it was picked up for a 2nd season due to positive reviews. The first season was the most awarded series at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning 10 awards. Season 2 was released in October 2022. The series is about a therapist who is held captive by a serial killer and seeks help to curb his murderous desires. The well-known actor Steve Carrell, who also served as an executive producer, plays the role of the therapist in the series. It first aired in August 2022 and consists of 10 episodes in total.

Tell Me Lies, created by Meaghan Oppenheimer, is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Carola Lovering. The series follows the relationship between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco, which develops over the course of 8 years after they meet at college. The 10-episode 1st season was released on Hulu in September 2022 and the show renewed for a 2nd season in November 2022. It stars Grace Van Patten and Jackson White in the lead roles.

Supernatural fans here? The Winchesters is a spin-off and prequel to the once popular The CW series Supernatural. Set in the 1970s, it’s narrated by Dean Winchester, who tells the story of his parents John Winchester and Mary Campbell, who met, fell in love and fought monsters together while searching for their missing fathers. The series premiered in October 2022 on The CW and the 1st season included 7 episodes.
6. Welcome to Eden

Last on our list of the best TV shows of 2022 in the thriller category is the Spanish series Welcome to Eden. The series is about a group of young adults who attend a party on a remote island, but the alluring paradise they find there holds dangerous secrets and entanglements. The 1st season of 8 episodes aired in May 2022 and the series has been renewed for a 2nd season. Although it hasn’t attracted as much attention as the other TV series on the list, Welcome to Eden is still one of the best thriller shows of the year. You can watch the series on Netflix.
