A new South Korean television series titled Behind Every Star will be produced by Baek Seung-ryong and will star Lee Seo-jin, Kwak Sun-young, Seo Hyun-woo, and Joo Hyun-young. It is slated to debut on tvN on November 7, 2022, and will run every Monday and Tuesday. It is based on the French TV show Call My Agent! In some regions, it is also accessible via Netflix streaming.
Studio Dragon said in May 2021 that they are adapting the French drama series Call My Agent! after securing the legal publication rights through a contract. Lee Seo-Jin was awarded the lead role in the Korean adaptation of Surviving as a Celebrity Manager in October 2021. Kwak Sun-young received a leading female role in the remake series at the same time. The story revolves around Method Entertainment, a significant management business, and shows their professional, personal, and aspirational lives.

Kwak Sun-young
Kwak Sun-young, a South Korean actress, was born on May 11, 1983. Her most well-known performances were in the films Hospital Playlist, VIP, and Encounter (2018). Veteran performer Kwak Sun-young made her film debut in the musical “Dalgona” in 2006; nevertheless, she has only been seen on television over the last four years of her 15-year career. She is well known to viewers for playing Ik-soon in the popular tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist” (2020-21).
As mentioned earlier, Kwak plays a range of roles in each of the shows. She plays the lively younger sister of the character Ik-joon in “Hospital Playlist” and creates devastating chemistry with one of Ik-closest joon’s friends, Jun-wan; She portrays a police officer who becomes the manager of an insurance firm in “Inspector Koo” and a mall telemarketing in “Average Jaehwa” who appears to be the unluckiest person in the world.
Seo Hyun Woo
Actor Seo Hyun-woo was born in South Korea on November 20, 1983. He gained fame for his portrayal of reporter Kim Moo-jin in the upcoming drama Flower of Evil.
After graduating from the Korea National University of Arts, he had his film debut in “White” in 2011 before making his big drama series debut in “The Royal Gambler” in 2016. He had appearances in the movies “Believer” (2018) and “Ashfall” more recently (2019).
Joo Hyun-young
Kim Hyun-you, best known by her stage as Joo Hyun-young, was born in South Korea on January 14, 1996. She became well-known for her roles in the television series Extraordinary Attorney Woo and the comedic variety program SNL Korea in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
She majored in theater while attending Kookmin University. She made her acting debut in the drama series “Govengers” in 2018. She then participated in the drama “Best Mistake” in 2019 and the follow-up “Best Mistake Season 2” in 2020.
Lee Seo-jin
Actor Lee Seo-jin was born in South Korea on January 30, 1971. He is well known for the reality series Grandpa Over Flowers and Three Meals a Day. His starring appearances in the television series Damo (2003), Phoenix (2004), Lovers (2006), Yi San (2007), and Marriage Contract helped him gain notoriety as an actor (2016).
In the 1999 television series House Above the Waves, Lee Seo-jin made his acting debut. After playing a number of minor roles on television, he shot to stardom in the 2003 smash historical drama Damo and the following year’s equally well-liked modern drama Phoenix. In the 2005 action hit Shadowless Sword, Lee won his first significant leading role.
In the cable series Freeze (2006), Lee portrayed a vampire; in Lovers (2006), a mobster; and in Soul (2006), a criminal profiler (2009). But he would become most recognized for his representations of historical figures from Korea, like General Gyebaek of Baekje in Gyebaek and King Jeongjo of Joseon in Yi San (2007).
Hwang Se-on
Hwang Se-On was born on August 4, 1994, in South Korea. She took a role in these drama series; Behind Every Star (2022), One Ordinary Day (2021), Mouse (2021), The King: Eternal Monarch (2020), Romance is a Bonus Book (2019), Madame Antoine: The Love Therapist (2016).
Shin Hyeon-Seung
A rising South Korean actor named Shin Hyun Seung was born on July 5, 1998. He made appearances in the drama series episodes “So Not Worth It” and “Be My Boyfriend,” released in 2021. Also, he performed in Behind Every Star, Adamas, Sh**ting Stars, Pumpkin Time, and Work Later, Drink Now.
