Alchemy of Souls is set in a fictional country called Daeho, and it does not exist in history or on maps. It follows the story of a warrior called Nak-su whose soul is trapped inside the body of Mu-deok, who happens to be Jang Uk’s servant. The reason for this soul-trap is due to a magic spell known as the “alchemy of souls” and we see the young mages overcome their rather twisted fates due to this spell.
The series stars Lee Jae-wook and Jung So-min and it’s written by the Hong sisters. It premiered on June 18, 2022, on tvN. You can also catch episodes on TVING and on Netflix in selected regions! Let’s take a look at the cast of your new favorite TV series!

Due to his unique birth time, and ability to master the four levels to be a mage, he’s destined to do great things! He keeps his personal life private and focuses on his career. So, we don’t know if he’s taken or single.

Hwang Min-hyun, also known as Minhyun, is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter, and actor. He was discovered by an entertainment agency at the age of 15. He debuted as a singer with the boy band NU’EST in 2012. In Alchemy of Souls, he plays Seo Youl, who comes from the noble Seo family. He has an emotional bond with Mu Deok, after realizing who she really is. The South Korean actor is rumored to be single and prefers to keep his private life, well, private.

Her screen debut came with the web series “The World of My 17”. She plays Jin Cho-yeon in Alchemy of Souls. She’s the popular girl in Daeho and the youngest daughter of the Jin family. She’s currently single.
Yoo In-soo

Yoo In-soo is a 24-year-old South Korean actor. You may recognize him from dramas like Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead, Spring is Green and Strong Girl Bong-soon. Currently starring in Alchemy of Souls, he plays Park Dang-Gu. He’s the heir to a wealthy family and a bit of a playboy who doesn’t care much about what goes on in Daeho. Yoo In-soo is quite the bachelor and fans wonder if he’s single or not.
And folks, you might be happy to know that he’s single. In an Instagram post made in 2019, he was seen in a public vehicle, putting his arm around an invisible person with the caption saying “Girlfriend #Lovestagram”. I guess we could say he’s looking for love. Who knows?!
