British actress Katrina Kaif, born Katrina Turquotte on July 16, 1983, performs in Hindi-language movies. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in India and has won honors, including four Screen Awards, four Zee Cine Awards, three Filmfare nominations, and four Zee Cine Awards. She has received mixed reviews for her acting, although she is renowned for dancing in several popular item numbers.

Kaif, born in Hong Kong, spent three years abroad before relocating to London. As a youngster, she accepted her first modeling job and later pursued a fashion modeling career. Despite building a successful modeling career in India, Kaif initially struggled to land film jobs because of her subpar Hindi. Kaif gained commercial success in Bollywood with the love stories Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005) and Namastey London after making an appearance in the Telugu movie Malliswari (2004).

2. Sooryavanshi

Her second most admired role is in Sooryavanshi. With Akshay Kumar, Kaif’s sole 2020 movie was Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, but the COVID-19 epidemic in India led it to be repeatedly delayed until its eventual November 2021 release. Kaif, a fan of Shetty’s extravagant directing style, portrayed the part of Kumar’s wife. Sooryavanshi momentarily held the title of the highest-grossing movie in India for the year at the box office.
