Jan de Lichte is the guy who was carried through the woods and was a mercenary for the Austrian army but defected to return to his native hamlet of Aalst in Flanders. He goes in search of his sister and is informed she lives in the wilderness and he seeks the assistance of a local psychic to find her in the woods. Meanwhile, a new Bailiff called Baru arrives in Aalst and attempts to meet with the mayor. However, he gradually discovers that the mayor is crooked.

Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, and Mathieu Mortelmans direct the Belgian award-winning drama-comedy. This one first aired on Belgian television in 2021, and it was recently published on Netflix. Yassine Ouaich, Ward Kerremans, Ahlaam Teghadouini, and Sad Boumazoughe star in the lead roles with excellent performances.
The series Soil begins with a coffin getting placed in the ground, but the events are reversed with a speech by the story’s hero, and this program is definitely one of the shows like Two Summers.
