How Ty Borden Died in Heartland Season 14? – Graham Wardle Fired?

There are a lot of details in Heartland that we could not keep up over 15 years. But, one topic that we did not miss out was the death of Ty Borden in Heartland Season 14.

Heartland will always be one of our all-time favorite shows. Why? Because the series has the most wholesome characters, a very natural and beautiful setting, a chilled-out storyline, and a lot of horses. It is the perfect antidote for any depressed feeling and we cannot get enough of it. To be honest, we don’t think there are many episodes of Heartland that we felt like we cannot stand watching it.

Instead, whenever we see Heartland on TV, we drop everything else and focus on it. The show is good for our mental health, our emotional well-being, and our overall perspective on the world. Whenever we watch it, our belief in humanity rejuvenates and we start to realize that there are good people in the world as well. Consider a show where the worst character is a father who is full of regrets and trying to make up for his children at every possible opportunity.

As you can see, even Tim is not exactly a bad man. In the Heartland universe, everyone deserves and gets a second chance and they prove to be worthy of it. Unfortunately, so far, the only one who did not deserve to get a second chance in the show has been Ty Borden, who was being played by Graham Wardle.

Who is Ty Borden in Heartland?

Ty was arguably the best character in the show. Considering that the majority of the audience of Heartland are women, the fandom for Ty Borden has always been very crowded, because he was portrayed as this ideal man that anyone would like to be with. He was some kind of bad boy whose past was mysterious, but his heart was far from being cruel. Instead, he was tender, kind, full of love, and very giving to the people in his surroundings.

In fact, he was very giving to everyone around the world. At one point, he left his family to help the animals around the different corners of the globe. He was open to learning and was doing his best to be a helpful, valuable individual. Besides, he was a great and supportive lover to Amy. Their relationship was worthy to be the subject of fairy tales. And yet, it was also realistic somehow, so that we never felt like this was too good to be true.

Ty’s Death Explained!

Unfortunately, though, their happiness did not last for long. One day, when they were hanging out in the mountains, they saw a wolf running toward them. Their immediate reaction was to escape. But, before they could do anything, a bullet, which was originally targeting the wolf, hurt both of them. They went to the hospital, thinking that Amy was the one who got injured. While Amy was receiving her treatment, it turned out that Ty Borden was also injured and in a worse condition than Amy, but could not realize this since he was occupied with making sure she was okay.

After this realization, he went through an operation, which was a success. He returned to his home, enjoying his life. But, one day, he woke up with a headache, and a few hours later, he collapsed in front of Amy. Later, we found out that it was a blood clot that caused Ty Borden to lose his life. It was the most unexpected thing that took place at the most unexpected time and we still cannot believe it. To this day, Ty’s presence can be felt in every single episode of Heartland, and we, as the fans, will never forget him.
