365 Days is a Polish erotic thriller that attracted quite an attention when it was released on Netflix in June 2020 and now 365 Days 2 is on the way. Although the 1st movie was released in theatres before coming to Netflix, this one will be directly released on Netflix. The announcement was made with a trailer for the sequel, which you can watch at the end of this article!
The first movie got a massive amount of harsh criticism and it seems like the audience didn’t like it that much either. The movie has a 3.4 IMDB and a 0% Rotten Tomatoes rating. Most criticisms were directed at the movie being a Polish Fifty Shades of Grey rip-off. This did not stop the movie from being popular though as it became the most-watched international movie of 2020 on Netflix.
Although most people will say that they watched the movie to see what the fuss was about, we know very well you watched the movie to see Don Mossimo, the hot male protagonist of the movie. And you know what, we deserve to see a Don Mossimo now and then so we are thrilled that Netflix decided to do a sequel. Actually, a 3rd film is also coming. We guess Netflix couldn’t help but embrace the hype.
365 Days 2
At the end of the trailer that came out a week ago, you can see the writing that says “Only on Netflix April 27”. So it’s less than 2 weeks before we can get to watch the sequel. 365 Days 2 is officially named 365 Days: This Day. As you probably already know the 1st film was based on the 1st novel of the 365 Days trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. The sequel is going to be based on the 2nd novel of the series: 365 Days: This Day.
We know everyone is wondering if we are going to be seeing the main cast members again, especially Michele Morrone in the role of Don Mossimo. The answer is yes, both Morrone and Anna Maria Sieklucka (who plays Laura) will be returning for the 2nd movie.
365 Days sequel plot
The 1st movie was about Don Massimo who imprisoned a woman named Laura for 365 days to make her fall in love with him. From the trailer for 365 Days 2, it is understood that the couple is on the way to trying out a real relationship however, like with all relationships, this one has its problems as well. It seems like the pair will have to deal with the familial problems of Massimo.
What’s more, we see a mysterious handsome man coming into Laura’s life and she says somewhere in the trailer to take her away from there. Is this going to be a love triangle or is there something else going on? The details are obscure and the trailer doesn’t really tell much else. We’ll just have to wait and see ourselves in 2 weeks’ time.
