The American neo-western TV series Yellowstone premiered back in 2018. It was created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson for Paramount Network. The plot of the series follows the Dutton family. They own the largest ranch in Montana, commonly known as “the Yellowstone”. We see all the family drama the Dutton family endures, with a side of the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, developers, and national park.
One of the characters in the show is Rip Wheeler. He’s a ranch hand at the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. He had a rough start to life. He witnessed his father killing his family and had to kill him to make him stop. Afterward, he was adopted into the Dutton Ranch by John Dutton. Jamie Dutton is the son of John and Evelyn Dutton. He’s an attorney and was adopted by the owners of the Ranch that the show centers around.
As the premiere date for Season 5 approaches, speculations rise among the fans. At the end of the 4th season, we saw that Jamie killed his biological father, and his sister Beth filmed the whole thing to blackmail him when needed. So, as a result, Jamie returned to the ranch to be under the watchful eyes of John. In his search for power, Jamie Dutton is ready to do anything. But will the evidence held against him be enough? Or will he settle down? If anything happens to his beloved wife, Rip Wheeler might do just about anything to avenge Beth. But we can’t say for sure as of yet!
Why does everyone hate Jamie in Yellowstone?

Jamie Dutton is the black sheep of the Dutton family, and people have too many reasons to hate him. This hatred toward him originates mainly from his interference with Beth and Rip’s relationship. Specifically, because he’s the reason Beth can’t have children of her own. In her teenage years, she got pregnant with Rip’s child but wanted an abortion.
She went and asked for his brother’s help, and he gave it. But he took Beth to a native American abortion clinic, and the clinic required sterilization as part of the abortion process. Jamie didn’t tell her the exact process and left Beth unable to have children moving forward. Jamie also gave some unwanted information about his family to a reporter and when he couldn’t convince her not to publish any of it, he ended up killing her.
He seems to be making bad decisions after another and it does not help his case at all. So, a lot of people have many reasons to despise him. This hatred will probably move on to Season 5 as well as he’s constantly trying to finish off his father within his office. We will see as the season progresses!

Will Jamie take his revenge against Beth in Yellowstone Season 5?

As we said earlier, Beth has a very good reason to hate Jamie for life, and now she has evidence that could potentially destroy Jamie. Beth Dutton was already out for blood throughout Season 4 and finally got it. He now has major power over his brother and will use it to make everything go her way. This blood thirst will continue in Season 5 as well.
It was revealed back in January by Kelly Reilly who plays Beth Dutton that “Beth will go and deliver all of her vengeance and all of that anger she feels”. However, Jamie has a secret weapon that could give him the upper hand in this situation. Jamie had a secret baby with his ex-girlfriend Christina. He also is still the attorney general of Montana, and if Beth keeps cornering him, he might use his baby boy and position of power to push back at his father and Beth.
Jamie’s son could change his role to be in the legacy that John Dutton will leave behind, and it would be very interesting to see how Beth would react to Jamie having a son. Anything seems possible for the newest season of Yellowstone, and we can’t wait to see it! Yellowstone Season 5 will premiere on November 13, 2022, on Paramount Network!
