As soon as we finish Virgin River season 2, we have a few questions on our minds. When Will Virgin River Season 3 release? Does Jack die? Now keep reading this spoiler-filled article for answers to these questions and more about Virgin River Season 3.
Virgin River is an adaptation of Robyn Carr’s book series of 20 novels. Therefore, it is not difficult for those who know or read the book to predict how events will follow. Based on Mel Monroe continuing to live her life in a Virgin River town trying to get rid of her bad past, this series has got credits, especially thanks to its landscapes of town and noncomplex daily life story.
However, this noncomplex plot began to get a little complicated with the final scene of season two. Mel goes to the bar to meet Jack and finds out he is being shot and he lies in a pool of blood on the floor. So what happened after the end of its second season, which ended with this cliffhanger?
Virgin River Season 3 Trailer, Release Date
After the questions of whether season 3 will come, we got the news of the renewal of the new season on 18 December 2020. Because we had information that the shooting was over, we were already waiting for the release date to be confirmed. And the date announcement came sooner than we expected. They shared a video on Instagram of the cast announcing the release date for the new season. We will meet Virgin River season 3 on July 9 via Netflix. It is certain that we will see its trailer in June. We are very happy that there is very little time left for us to reach the third season.
Virgin River Season 3: Does Jack Die?
So, does Jack die? The answer to that question is actually pretty clear. Don’t worry, he’s not gonna die. Mel and Jack Love are with us in the third season of the series. We can already confirm this idea in the producer’s own words.
Tenney says about the death of Jack: “If you have read the books, we all know that Jack and Mel are destined to be together.” We’ll likely see Jack alive in a hospital bed in the trailer of the series or Episode 1. Whoever shot him is now a mystery. It is best to wait for the new season for the exact answer to this.
Sue Tenney, the producer of the show, also says “Ultimately, the way I look at the show is that we’re going to get as many seasons as we get. And when we get to that last season, we want them to be where [Carr] has them” These words are proof that there are many topics to be told in the series and a harbinger that season four could come.
Did you enjoy the second season of Virgin River? Are you happy to hear that Jack’s not going to die? What do you want to see in Virgin River Season 3? Indicate in comments. Thank you in advance. See you soon!
