Attack on Titan debuted in 2013 and made an immediate impression on the anime community. Aside from its unusual storyline and brutal violence, we were most captivated by Attack on Titan’s mystery, and how titans arrived on the island of Paradis.
It’s reasonable to say that Attack on Titan is a pop culture phenomenon. It avoids the conventional preconceptions and appeals to almost everyone. Attack on Titan is deep, multifaceted, and generally makes everyone drool over the amazing narrative which means they’re constantly vulnerable to tragedy in the same way that Game of Thrones is. Nobody is safe in Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), believe us.
Wrap it in some of the best art the industry has to offer, as well as one of the greatest soundtracks ever created, and you’ve got yourself a major franchise. Unlike other shows, Attack on Titan was developed out in an interesting four-season storyline. With the release of Part 2 of the last season in 2022, we wanted to rate our top 6 characters.
Eren Yeager
So far, Eren’s arc has been one of the fans’ favorites of any anime protagonist. Eren has gone through hell, from losing his mother in front of his eyes to becoming the same creature he once feared. His development has been breathtaking, with his complete contempt for life if it does not fit the objective he currently pursues. Eren becomes a whole new persona once the curtain is lifted and the Titans’ past is exposed, and the consequences are tense.
Eren determined to destroy the Titans at whatever cost after seeing the violent eating of his mother and the devastation of his home. His tremendous anger and bloodlust are both his greatest weapon and his biggest fault, which is why he was devoured so swiftly.
Fortunately, he inherited the Attack Titan from his revered father. As a result, it becomes a key tool in humanity’s struggle against injustice. Because of his rage and attitude, many fans of Attack on Titan found him bothersome at first. This quickly changes as Eren adjusts to his dual roles as protagonist and villain.
Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa, one of Attack on Titan’s greatest fan favorites, stole the show from the moment she supported Eren in their childhood. Her everlasting devotion to Eren provides her with supernatural strength. She effortlessly lives up to all of the badass expectations that come with having the Ackermann surname. Although her unquestioning allegiance to Eren can be troubling at times, we are intrigued to see if it continues after witnessing Eren’s destructive actions.
Mikasa has been following Eren and his family since he rescued her from the murderers who killed her family. They formed an intimate bond that has lasted throughout their adulthood. Even as a youngster, she was seen as a strong and scary figure, scaring off bullies in the place of Armin and Eren.

So when she accompanied them both in joining the Survey Corps, she quickly rose to become one of humanity’s most powerful defenders. She even took first place in the 104th Training Corps. Nothing, human or Titan, can actually stand in her path. Particularly when it comes to Eren.
Armin Arlert
Armin’s persona is endearing because of the innocence in his eyes and the purity in his heart. We witness significant character growth as his life progresses from being somewhat secure and sheltered to becoming perilous and daring through Attack on Titan. Armin’s devotion to Eren becomes heartbreaking to see as he gradually loses faith in his long-time closest friend.
Armin, as controversial as it may be, is our new favorite Attack on Titan character. When we first meet the weak, frightened guy, he was being abused as a kid and seeks Mikasa and Eren to save him.
In their company, though, he becomes cheerily excited about the globe, politics, culture, and tactics. He gave our first crucial look into one of the 104th Training Corps’ most essential warriors. There have been several occasions when mankind might have perished if it hadn’t been for his unusual perspective.
Erwin Smith
Erwin is the leader whose life depended on discovering the truth about Titans. He never got to witness the sources, but he made certain that he had no regrets about his life. His ability to rally his fellow scouts and plan under duress made him the ideal Scout Regiment leader. Finally, his final choice demonstrated his insight as a commander and the trust he acquired. He perceived Armin as the future and jeopardized his chances of discovering the truth by refusing the vaccine that may have saved his life.
Erwin is the Survey Corps’ 13th Commander, revered by his colleagues and subordinates for his strategic brilliance and readiness to sacrifice for the cause of humanity’s future. With intense blue eyes and a tidy blonde cut that inspires power and determination in whatever squad he leads, his design and demeanor demand the attention of Attack on Titan fans. He’s an amazing, mature figure who personifies the Survey Corps’ all-or-nothing approach.
Reiner Braun
Seeing Reiner’s mental struggle with playing both sides on Attack on Titan made you sympathize with him in some ways. He is a soldier on a mission who finds up befriending his enemy. After years of playing both sides, we witness Reiner’s two personalities blend. This level of subtlety in what appears to be a nasty man is what makes this program so complicated.
As you might already know, Reiner is the heir to the Armored Titan, a medium-sized hardened-skin Titan that attacks with raw power against any foe. He is a key adversary as well as the series’ mirror protagonist, having been born in the Liberio zone to Marley and Eldian parents.
He graduated second in the 104th Training Corps, demonstrating his ability as a warrior. This is made much more stunning when it is discovered that Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie are all covert spies infiltrating Paradis Island and the army in order to accomplish something far larger than anybody could have imagined.
Levi Ackerman
Slaying Titans is no simple feat, but Levi makes it look easy. On the field, his violent temperament is the polar opposite of his more quiet, laid-back disposition. Disciplining his trainees by cleaning to his compulsive standards might be amusing, but watching him explode is what makes him so popular. Levi is 5’3” which is a very interesting aspect of his personality and one of the reason why he is so well-known among the fans.
Captain Levi of Attack on Titan is without a doubt the most powerful human warrior. Only Mikasa comes close in terms of proficiency. Those who cross him are terrified by his cruel manner, lethal agility, and power. Despite his small stature, his colleagues feel frightened by him but appreciate him for his resolve to safeguard the species.
Levi is the most popular figure for a reason, with his short black hair and youthful face around a nihilistic set of narrow eyes. He’s a badass with boundless determination. Because of the nature of his employment as the captain of the Special Operations Squad, he can only keep people at bay.
