The Kissing Booth Franchise Renewed – Kissing Booth 4

Today, we are focusing on if there is even the slightest hope for a Kissing Booth 4 as the series has come to an end in the past with the release of a 3rd movie. Even though the story has wrapped up, our eagerness to have more of our favorite characters Elle, Noah, and Lee still resume. In fact, it is evident that in the possibility of a 4th movie to the franchise, millions will cherish the news worldwide. Well, is there such a possibility though? 

Beth Reekles’ book series with the same name has three chapters. Yes, you heard right. There are three Kissing Booth books and three respective movies for each book. This means that the series, which drastically entered our lives back in 2018, actually reached its ending with the installment of the 3rd movie.

Yet, let’s not lose all our hopes at once. Although the series wrapped up, with multiple confirmations from its actors, there is still the chance of a 4th movie or, even better, a spin-off series. How? Reekles have two more stories within the universe of Kissing Booth: The Kissing Booth Road Trip and The Beach House. Neither of the stories is included in the main plot of the series, meaning that there is still more to explore.

Given the popularity of the series, we believe that it is likely for Netflix to utilize these new materials, and turn them into new projects. When it comes to the format of these projects, we are crossing our fingers and hope that they would be TV series, so that we can get more of this charming teen rom-com franchise. 

It is obvious that Reekles is a talented writer with a creative mind and high observation skills on human behavior. And there is no doubt that her writing ability is one of the key factors that popularized the Kissing Booth franchise universally. However, the series’ success cannot be credited to Reekles’ talented and creative writing alone. In fact, the franchise owes much to its cast, which consists of young and yet still very talented actors.

To the point that if there would be a Kissing Booth 4 or a spin-off series, we would want a cast no other than the current one as it is already perfect the way it is. We believe Netflix would agree with us on this since it is evident that there is a unique chemistry between Kissing Booth actors that make the series unparalleled.

Joey King, playing Elle, is one of the most trendy names that Netflix introduced to Hollywood and the world in recent years. She was born on July 30, 1999, making her a 22 years-old young woman. Even though she has been busy almost every year since then, Kissing Booth has become her major breakout role. Australian actor Jacob Elordi who plays Noah, on the other hand, was born in 1997 and made headlines thanks to Kissing Booth.

American actor Joel Courtney, portraying Lee, was born in 1996 and took part in not only the Kissing Booth cast but also the Super 8. Taylor Zakhar Perez was one of the pleasing surprises of Kissing Booth cast when he showed up at the 2nd movie of the franchise as Marco Pena. Besides, there are iconic faces in the cast that would be quite difficult to replace, such as Molly Ringwald, playing Mrs.Flynn. Ringwald was a teenage star back in the 1980s, playing in cult classics such as The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. It would be a total blessing for this cast to reunite for the Kissing Booth 4.

Kissing Booth 4 Release Date

Well, you are probably asking right now: When would this hypothetical Kissing Booth 4 or spin-off series be released, assuming that they will be released? The answer is easy. August 2022 seems like a perfect date for such a movie to be aired as it took about 13-moths for the 3rd Kissing Booth movie to be released after the 2nd one. Since there are no official announcements on a possible reboot of the series as of now, we are yet to share a trailer. Still, we are hopeful that soon, there will be more material to share on the Kissing Booth franchise, as the series is full of potential for new windows of opportunities.
