Smile 2 Release Date
As it is known, it was not long before Smile met the audience. For this reason, there has been no definitive statement from anyone about Smile 2 yet. However, there are also rumors of Smile 2 that will delight horror lovers.
This is a situation that everyone can predict now, the more popular a production is, the higher the probability of a sequel to come. If we look at Smile specifically, we can say that there was no horror movie to rival at the time it was first released, and people opened the Halloween season by watching Smile. In general, the comments about it also contain positive reactions. It’s still a popular production, even though it has been a month and many movies that can compete with it have been released. If it does not lose this popularity over time, it is very possible that we will be able to meet with Smile 2.
Parker Finn, the creator of the production, states that instead of a continuation of the story, Smile 2, he is closer to making a movie with the same name but different characters with different stories. If all goes well and it hits the filmmakers’ radar, Smile 2 could meet us around November 2024.
Smile Horror Movie Ending Explained
By the end of the movie Smile, Rose is now certain: the curse affects and, worse, kills everyone her life has touched. However, there is only one person who has not been affected by the curse and is still alive. Rose and her ex decide to visit this person.
Unaffected by the curse, Robert Talley is in prison. Because he killed a stranger, and meanwhile, the curse was passed on to someone else who witnessed it.
It should be clarified here that Rose also killed one of her patients in front of her boss, but the curse did not pass to her boss. This is because Rose has never killed anyone with a real killing intent.
Just then, Rose begins to hallucinate into the past again. This time, we come across an image where her childhood home is now in ruins. And here we realize that Rose’s mother committed suicide but was left to die before she could have been saved. Instead of calling the ambulance and asking for help, Rose ran away from the house.
Although she felt guilty at first, Rose later sheds this guilt. In the scenes that come to her dreams, she sees her mother fighting the demons that have entered her and sets her mother on fire. While her mother is burning with the house, she runs away from there.
Predictably, this is only one moment of Inception, and there have been dozens of them so far. Rose arrives at Joel’s apartment but learns that in real life Joel is still on the road. The way out for Rose is to kill herself in front of Joel and make Joel the next curse bearer.
Smile, who has become long and thin, attacks Rose, although she struggles with him. He rips his face completely off to make a horrible smile that also shows his teeth. Arik has completely taken over Rose’s command and will be able to make her do anything.
Rose’s body takes a huge bottle of gasoline and pours it all over her. He lights a match and it instantly catches fire. As the flames grow, Joel walks through the door and sees Rose in that state. And this is the final scene, the curse is now on Joel, even though they fight to make it happen.
In our opinion, this stunning ending should definitely be crowned with a Smile 2 movie!
Is Smile 2022 a Remake?
Yes, but the remake is Laura Hasn’t Slept, a short film created by Parker Finn. Finn, who is still experimenting with directing, wrote and directed Smile as the feature-length version of this production, which he created in 2020. In addition, almost all of the production’s main characters are played by the same people in both productions: Jessie Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Kal Penn, Rob Morgan and Caitlin Stasey.
How scary is the movie Smile?
We definitely say yes to the answer to this question, and we present the factors that push us to reach this conclusion in a few points.
First of all, laughing is the most beautiful thing in the world, but the smiles in this movie are so disturbing that you fall into fear because you stay away from the smile you are normally accustomed to.
Secondly, although we may have different human systems and some of us have no faith at all, there is an ancient marvelous story that frightens each of us. This is also in the movie Smile, and no matter how hard you try to resist, this story also affects and scares you.
Finally, the sounds used in the background of Smile are also very impressive. Horror movies have been using sound as a tool since the first day they came out, but the repetitive sounds in some productions now bore people instead of scaring them after a while. But that’s not the case with Smile, each scene has its own frightening sound and it gives goosebumps!
