Siesta Key, a reality tv series that has continued since 2017, recently finished its 4th season. The show follows a group of young adults who spend the summer together in Florida. Of course, they are all hot and sexy, and the show is full of romance, drama, and heartbreaks.
The show’s Season 1 consisted of 2 parts, 1 released from July to October 2017 and the 2 released from January to March 2018. While the 1st season had a total number of 18 episodes, the 2nd season had fewer episodes (12), all released weekly from January to April 2019. The 3rd season was divided into 2 parts, the 1st being released from January to March 2020 and the 2nd from June to August 2020. Season 4 also aired in 2 parts; however, the wait between the episodes was longer this time. We got to see the 1st 12 episodes from May to August 2021, and the remaining 12 episodes only aired from March to May 2022.
As Season 4 has just ended, fans started to wonder and speculate about the possibility of a Siesta Key Season 5. Let’s see if there is any news regarding the future of the series.

Unfortunately, MTV has not announced any news about the renewal or the cancelation of the series. That said, if we look at the past renewal dates of the series, we can see that MTV waits at least a few months before making any decision on the future of the series. For instance, Season 1 ended in March 2018, but the show’s renewal for a 2nd season came almost 9 months later. This situation was a bit different after Season 2. The company renewed the show for a 3rd season only a month after its 2nd season ended.
After Season 3 ended in August 2020, we had to wait 3 months for the news about renewal to come by. So, it is still early to conclude the show’s future. MTV will probably announce it in 2 or 3 months. That said, we believe the show will be renewed for Season 5 despite not having much popularity. The show has a consistent and loyal audience who has been watching it for the last couple of years, so we don’t expect MTV to let them down. If the show is renewed, a possible release date would be early 2023, considering the release dates of earlier seasons.
