Therefore, it wasn’t a shock to anyone to hear the executive producer Susanne Simpson announcing: “We are absolutely delighted to announce a second and third season of Sanditon, a show that has inspired such a passionate and devoted fan base.”

Sanditon Cast – Who Leaves
Sanditon Season 2 Cast will, unfortunately, be remarkably different than the Season 1 of the series. Some of the beloved characters will leave the series, including Sidney Parker, played by Theo James. James announced his departure from the series back in May 2021. Since he was one of the main love interests, hearing the news break most of the fans’ hearts.
As if James’ departure was not enough, we recently got the news that Mark Stanley and Leo Suter, who were portraying Lord Babington and James Stringer respectively, were also leaving the show.
