American superhero movie Samaritan was released in 2022 and was written and directed by Julius Avery. The narrative was initially adapted into the Mythos Comics graphic novels by Schut, Marc Olivent, and Renzo Podesta, which have been called a dark, fresh twist on superhero movies.
Balboa Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer collaborated in their production. Sylvester Stallone, Javon Walton, Pilou Asbaek, Dascha Polanco, and Moises Arias all appear in the movie. United Artists Releasing and Amazon Studios made Samaritan accessible for streaming on Prime Video on August 26, 2022. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

Actor Johan Philip “Pilou” was born in Denmark on March 2, 1982. In the Danish television political drama Borgen, he played the problematic spin doctor Kasper Juul, and in the hit show Game of Thrones, he played Euron Greyjoy.
