From Grey’s Anatomy to E.R., hospital dramas have always been some of the most popular shows as people cannot get enough of the mysterious lives of doctors. Police dramas also create a similar excitement in the sense that you got to get into the world of one of the most wondered occupations. Now, when you combine the two and added some comedic value, then you get Medical Police. Despite combining these two perfectly, Medical Police Season 2 Release Date is still waiting to be announced, with many wondering what had happened to the show.
Starring Erin Hayes and Rob Huebel, Medical Police is following two doctors-turned-agents who are trying to find a cure for a global virus. Interestingly, the first season was released at the beginning of the actual global pandemic, which wasn’t a calculated incident. Since then, people are waiting for a Medical Police Season 2 release date without any success.
In this article, we will take a look at the latest developments on the Medical Police Season 2 release date. So, without further ado, let’s dive in!
Will There Be a Season 2 of Medical Police?
As of October 2021, Netflix is still yet to announce an official confirmation on the series’ renewal, meaning that Medical Police Season 2 is still not revealed. Even though there is also no official confirmation, with the average score of 6 on IMDb and not-so-positive reviews, it can be assumed at this point that Medical Police is facing some kind of a ghost cancellation, just like many other Netflix shows which didn’t make the cut.
Medical Police Season 2 Release Date
If the renewal of the series surprisingly comes at the last corner of the year, we can expect the Medical Police Season 2 Release Date to be on Jan.8, 2021, a year after Season 1’s release date. It would probably have ten episodes, just like Season 1.
Medical Police Season 2 Cast
We expect to welcome more or less the same cast names in Medical Police Season 2, meaning that we will welcome Erinn Hayes as Dr. Lola Spratt, Rob Huebel as Dr. Owen Maestro, Lake Bell as Cat Black, Jason Schwartzman as The Goldfinch, Rob Corddry as Blake Downs, Tom Wright as Director Patten, Randall Park as Clavis Kim and Lilly Singh as Baroness Von Eaglesburg.
How Many Seasons Does Medical Police Have?
Currently, Medical Police only has one season, consisting of 10 episodes.
Is Medical Police a Spin-Off?
Yes. Medical Police is the spin-off of the comedy show Childrens Hospital, which was kind of a parody of the medical dramas. Childrens Hospital was aired on Adult Swim between the dates of 2010, and 2016.
Previously, Hayes stated that she is more than happy to be a part of the Childrens Hospital universe once again through the Medical Police.
“It was such a dream to come back to work with everybody. And truly, it was so much of the same crew from Childrens Hospital. Not just the cast, and not just the executive producers, but the camera guys and our set designers. Everybody was back. It felt like not much time had passed, so it didn’t make sense that we look older. We didn’t skip a beat. The tone didn’t need to be explained, or how we do things. It felt nice and easy,” she said in an interview.

Watching the ten episodes over and over! This is great entertainment and I want more! Netflix produces so many poor shows, why wouldn’t they continue one with well-written scripts and a great cast that offers comedy, drama, action, puns, current events, and slap-stick stunts?
