John Wick Chapter 4 Release Date
Another fresh release date for John Wick Chapter 4 has been announced by the showrunners. Lionsgate revealed on Wednesday that the action picture starring Keanu Reeves will be delayed by nearly a year, from May 27, 2022, to March 24, 2023.
The film was supposed to be released in theaters on May 21, 2021, however, it was postponed because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Lionsgate announced the announcement in a video released on their social media accounts, along with the text “Be seeing you.”
In its original release date of May 27, 2022, John Wick Chapter 4 would have debuted alongside Top Gun: Maverick over Memorial Day weekend. The most current film in the franchise, John Wick Chapter 3, was released in May 2019 and starred Halle Berry and Laurence Fishburne.
This statement comes as Hollywood, as well as the rest of the globe, is dealing with an increase of COVID-19 cases connected to the Omicron form. So far, the new rise has had little effect on film release dates, but it has had an influence on live events and in-person gatherings, just as the industry enters the peak of Academy Awards season.
John Wick Chapter 4 Plot
John Wick first appeared in 2014, when the assassin was dragged out of retirement to revenge on the death of his sad pet. In Chapter 2 of John Wick, he was forced to fulfill an old solemn oath. Then, in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, he battled the High Table, so what’s next for the lethal hitman?
The third chapter ended with a seriously injured John Wick being carried to an underground shelter by The Tick Tock Man (Jason Mantzoukas) and Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne), where they united on their common rage at the High Table.
Winston (Ian McShane) left John for dead in order to save his job as manager of The Continental and his standing with the High Table. So, in Chapter 4, we hope to see Bowery King and John Wick team-up.
We also know that the team has apparently been on-site in France, Germany, New York, and Japan, so there will be plenty of international brawling.
John Wick Chapter 4 Cast
