Even though the 4th season of Disenchantment was released on a very recent date, -February 9, 2022- the ones who finished the show are already asking will there be a 5th season. It would not surprise us to see Season 5’s trailer soon, so here is what we know about it.
The show first made an entrance on the great streaming website Netflix in August 2018. After the first release, people enjoyed the show so much that it only took a few days to create a big fanbase for it.
As you might already guess from the artwork, the producer of the show is the same as The Simpsons and Futurama, Matt Groening. Disenchantment has one of an interesting main characters, Princess Bean, who lives in the medieval kingdom of Dreamland. We cannot forget the elf Elfo and demon Luci who follow her everywhere she goes.

Animated fictional comedy’s Season 4 has recently been released on Netflix. It is one of the great productions by Matt Groening and Josh Weinstein. Ten episodes were released at once and nothing will be the same in Dreamland after those episodes. As you might know, at the end of the third season, Princess Bean has rescued her country once more and became the ruler of it.

Princess Bean is flawless in every aspect, and she cares deeply about her friends, especially little elf Elfo and her demon friend Luci. Sadly, these three were separated in Heaven and Hell in season 4. We really got upset over how Luci ended up in Heaven after death, because he got trapped there with some boring angels.
Queen Bean reunites with her somewhat mad father Zøg as well as her malevolent mother Queen Dagmar in season 4. Throughout the series, the importance of family and how it molds us is emphasized through the acts of the protagonists.

Bean confronts her wicked version from her nightmares in the season’s tenth and final episode. Nevertheless, the evil Bean desires to force Bean to do something wicked in order for her to get control of her body and join the physical universe.
Zog and Odval search for Freckles, Derek, and Japer. Meanwhile, we see Luci attempting to free Bean after the evil Bean catches Bean in her visions and transports her to the actual world.
Bean soon returns to the real world and is ready to destroy the evil Bean. The others, on the other hand, are perplexed since they cannot figure out who the real Bean is.
But, like always, Luci and all the others figure out who the real Bean is, and destroy the bad Bean. However, just as everything appeared to be alright, Dagmar and Satan come. Dagmar is determined to kill Bean by throwing her from the tower into the water.
Yet, Disenchantment Season 4 did not finish there. We later witnessed Mora come to Bean’s aid once more. She risked her life with a loving kiss to save Bean. In the end, things seemed even more perilous now that Satan, the lord of hell, was now the dictator of Dreamland, together with Dagmar.
Furthermore, Dagmar had the head of the bad Bean placed alongside her for a potential scheme. Expect some brutal events for Disenchantment Season 5.

Luci is a demon from hell who is arrived to be at the side of Bean at all times. Eric André, the famous Adult Swim program The Eric Andre Show’s entertainer, actor, and talk show presenter is the familiar voice behind Luci the demon.
In the first episode, Luci describes himself as “the person who makes you feel good about doing horrible things.” In every episode, you can see the classic trio -Bean, Luci, and Elfo- getting into trouble. Luci, on the other hand, always finds a way to get out of trouble. He is oddly a devil who brings a sense of hope.

Season 5 of Disenchantment is planned to be released in the first quarter of 2023. Just so you know, the creator Matt Groening is very excited about the 5th season. However, since the 4th season has been released very recently, it would not be logical to confirm the 5th season yet. Season 4 has 10 episodes and you can watch all of them in one go.
Most people have heard about the fame of the show thanks to its great fanbase. Matt Groening told the press that there will be more episodes to Disenchantment, but the date is not official yet.
